Captivating and Steamy!

Corvin King and Brooke Daniels are completely amazing! Wow, they hit this performance out of the park! I know, i know, it says I received this title for fr€€, but that has no weight on my review. This audiobook was exceptionally done!

Summary of book and review:
She woke up in the hospital.

She woke up in the hospital and had no idea where she was. She was reliving the nightmare of her parent's death all over again and she was terrified.

After Nova had been attacked at the college, she woke up in a hospital to find herself with the Morningstar brothers at her bedside. They were the ones who had been by her side all along. They were the ones who insisted on the best care for her. And they were determined to take her home with them. Her grandparents were no where to be seen.

This book begins right where Made in Malice left off, so if you haven't yet read that, GO DO IT NOW! Otherwise you will surely be lost! This book spends a lot of time focusing on the interpersonal relationships between Nova, Lucian, and Nox. We also get to see a lot more of the inner workings of the governing clan on the island and how decisions are made and how punishments are carried out.

But when Nox and Lucian don't agree with the decisions being made, they take things into their own hands, determined to find answers. They want to know who hurt Nova and why! They seek to exact their own revenge when the council doesn't rule in their favor.

Once Nova leaves the hospital, she goes back to Lucian and Nox's house, and that really angers her grandparents. There are rules about mixing families, and Nova just showed where her loyalties were by staying put and not going home.

The island becomes more and more dangerous. Who really is telling the truth about what happened? Why are there all the secrets and lies? What are they hiding? And which family will end up on top when all the dust settles?

Albany walker is a masterful storywriter, and I have loved the adventure this book has taken readers on! There is so much intrigue, and so many loose threads that need to be followed! I can't tell what is a red herring and what is a bread crumb, and it has been a while since a book has kept me enraptured as much as this one has! This book ends on a cliffy, and it is PAINFUL! UGH! The next book needs to get here QUICK!

Another fav

First off I loved the choice of narrators they did such an amazing job bringing these characters to life. Second I swear Albany writes some of my favorite books! She always has the perfect ratio of plot to spice. 🤌🏻The endings always have me absolutely feral to get my hands on the next book in the series! If you love tattooed obsessive and possessive twin brothers or curvy bada** fmc run do not walk to go read this series!

Nova and the Morningstar Brothers

Created In Chaos by Albany Walker picks up right where book one left off. So if you haven't listened/read book one yet - get on that. Great story. Great narrators. This book does end on a cliff hanger - anxiously awaiting the next book!

The story usually lacks with spice books for me besides a few of my favorites but this story kept me wanting to read.

Wow what a second part. Created in Chaos picks up right where Made in Malice left off, so you need to have read that first
Love how the author Albany Walker started this second book, the story was enticing, lots of mystery, suspense and $extually tension. The characters Nora , Knox and Lucian grew within themselves but as a group also.
There is a pull and push between Nora grandparents( the Umbra ) and Knox and Lucian family ( the Morningstar). And someone at the school is out to get Nora. Grab it and see who How does Lucian handle everything

Loved both Corvin King and Brooke Daniel’s . Love how they did all the voices. Brooke is always amazing, Corvin was amazing doing both twins

suspense, back stabbing, mystery and steam

this 2nd installment in the series takes place directly after the end of book 1 so no wondering about what could have taken place. with enough angst to kill an elephant. the tension between them will have you on the edge of your seat. just when you think you know how it is going to play out this secret society island will turn it on its head. the dual narration on this book is amazing. they breath life into the characters and really make you feel like you know these characters. it ends with a delicious cliff hanger leaving you salivating for the 3rd and final book in this series.

The plot is good

I liked the duet narration. The male narrator sounds a lot like Gideon Frost and I like them both. Love Brooke! She does well as a FMC with a backbone although some of her banter got a little OTT. I wish the author would have written better spice scenes and this would have been 5 stars all around. I don’t know why she held back. If they are old enough to have sex, kill and all the rest, then the book would have benefited from more lovemaking.😉. Especially since there was almost nothing in the first book. Here’s to hoping the next book will have more of it all!
