Wish I had this book at age 25

This should be assigned reading before starting your first corporate job. It may not save you from yourself and stupid mistakes, but maybe if you listen to it twice, it might sink in

I Loved It

Very refreshing look at HR, corporate world, and moving up. Not vague, specific examples, straight to the point. I loved it.

Bad advice

The sociopath who wrote this recommends that you don’t report sexist harassment. The advice in this book is that you are worthless and desperate and therefore should put up with whatever illegal, unethical, and damaging behaviour towards you. This is what is called “learned helplessness” in psychology and is incredibly bad for your health. Don’t purchase this horrible book. I recommend Workplace Poker instead.
