Titan was one of the nation’s most loved and respected Heroes, until an infidelity scandal tore his image and family apart. After decades spent out of the limelight, Owen Daniels has decided to take up the mantle of Titan once again to try and make amends for his years away. Unfortunately, the Titan Scandal is still common knowledge, and no Hero team wants such a polarizing figure. With no other options, Owen is forced to take a job overseeing a group of corpies, corporate-sponsored Supers who do rescue work… as long as there are cameras around.

Between a team that doesn’t want him, fellow Heroes who don’t trust him, and a nation that might not be ready to forgive the sins of the past, the return of Titan could prove even harder than the scandal that drove him away. But Owen will have to push on, because his new city is far from a peaceful one. A mysterious enemy is attacking Heroes and growing steadily stronger. An enemy that only the once-legendary Titan might be able to stop.

Titan is the man

Titan needs a few more books. This adaptation is excellent. All the voice actors are spot on to their characters.

Nice to have a story about the actual hero work in this universe.

Voice acting is on point. Story was good enough to keep me interested and want more. Character growth is there. All around a good listen IMO. I don’t really think you need to listen to any of the Super Powereds books. While it will give more background for the setting and the main character, the writer had enough explanations to cover the important parts.

True to the original!

I’m a fan of the Superpowereds series and most GraphicAudio adaptations. They really nailed this one.
I imagine Mr. Hayes is incredibly proud of this version of his story.

This version combines both parts into one. There is a break between the parts. Instead of stitching them like a single production, they’ve simply combined both parts. This is good because you do not miss out on the extras from the original versions after each part.

An excellent Aperitif to Superpowereds

Both times I read this book has been after completing the SuperPowereds series. This book technically takes place between books 3 and 4 of the main series but it’s not critical you read it then.
BOTH, times I read this book has been because of the reading hangover of the main series, and it completely delivers.
Drew Hayes quickly gets you invested in the main character and his band of new misfits, and old friends.
Titan stars dolling out wisdom and punches like theres not tomorrow and it’s completely satisfying.
The supporting cast is also incredible. I was EASILY invested in their stories and this book almost makes me wanting to know more about what happens to them after.
The themes this book touches on are surprisingly mature and I personally, connect with them a lot. Making irreparable mistakes, walking away, being a coward, all these themes make the MC feel real, despite his larger than life appearance.
Anyways, totally a BANGER for a spin off.
Also, whoever did the soundtrack for this? Props buddy, totally what I wanted.
