A fresh honest approach to alleviating symptoms of Anxiety and Panic ‘protection’ attacks.
I was super excited to finally have the chance to listen to this book. I fully engaged in it and listened with my notebook open ready to hear some helpful solutions to overcoming my panic and anxiety attacks. I have just finished the book and can honestly say I was moved to tears during my participation. This book is DEFINITELY for you if your feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated and overcome by stress, worry and anxiety... Nik & Eva present their book in a no nonsense, concise and straight forward manner and it was lovely to hear them reading chapters because it was a more personal approach and it felt great to have them in my ear spurring me on...
I had a breakthrough moment when Nik & Eva spoke about panic attacks being renamed ‘protection attacks’ because in that moment I finally understood that no matter how bad the manifestations of fear were, they could do me no harm. That was a reframing revelational moment as I had always been afraid that my panic attacks were having a detrimental effect on my body and making me unhealthy and that I needed to take action to stop them at all costs.
I will take away several good tips to help me on a daily basis to retrain my thoughts, stop my anxiety and excessive worry from ‘what if’s’ and practice gratitude every day too as well as incorporating some of my own helpful strategies to help me stay serene and calm.
