Awesome ride!
Starts off right where we left off! More expansive world filled with new enemies. Of course there are aliens and they are hell bent of the destruction of earth. Now with Shaun in the mix things get all crazy quick. Pretty much the same insanity as the last book yet with a cool new powers! Wonderful fun book!

I love this series!!!
Great story and narration! Shaun and Ember are back and on the run from hostile aliens! Having awoken their powers in the VR world, they must now learn how to use them and decide what direction to go from here. Will they be able to come up with a way to save the Earth from this terrible alien menace? Christian does a great job with the narration! This is a fantastic series full of surprises and all around just a lot of fun! I can't wait to find out what happens next!!!

Even better
This book was even better than the first! It’s not as crunchy with the stats as book 1 or others in the genre, but that’s never been make-or-break for me in. What draws me in is an enjoyable & fun story & this was 1 for sure. I’m also a huge fan of when a narrator does distinct voices for all the characters & Christian knocked it out of the park!

More hilarious and fun
Quite the twist ended book one, so I came into this book wondering what would happen . I was more surprised than I thought, even with a shift from litRPG to a sci-fi space adventure, I didn’t mind because the characters drove the story and the talking axe added even more hilarity to the adventure. Kevin grew up some more as this story is tighter, and yet it feels like the natural progression for what had to happen. Christian does a fantastic job as narrator, so if you can have a listen and laugh with the rest of us.

Keeps getting better!
I liked the first book, but book 2 keeps impressing me. Not enough space-based Gamelit, and I like how Shaun’s abilities and companions rounded out the story. Definitely on to book 3!!

Not bad, but the MC needs a boot in the butt
I like the story overall and how the main characters are playing out in their principles. my issue is with how they are developing. Shaun will bust his balls to increase his body's strength but does little weapon training and almost no mind training. How tough is it to basically spend an hour or so a day cleaning up your mind?
