Publisher's summary

The long-awaited third installment in a series that has become a classic in family preparedness.

When Robert Hardwick’s daughter, Grace, was struggling to reach home because the nation was collapsing, he couldn’t wait. He went after her, finally finding her at one of the safe houses he’d arranged along her route home, a friend’s survival compound in the mountains of northern Georgia.

A chance encounter at the compound gave Grace the opportunity to hitch a ride home in a chopper while Robert chose to wait for an injured friend to heal up. Before he could begin his own journey home, the compound came under siege from a corrupt congressman and his private army, determined to take the property for themselves.

In a bid to save the compound and reach his family, Robert comes up with a bold and dangerous plan that just might deter the invading army, if it doesn’t get him killed first.

Excellent.

The only thing wrong with this book is that the next part in the series isn't out yet.

Horton does it again!

This one is, as the title suggests, taking place at Arthur's compound. Robert finds himself a bit confused, at first, as to his priorities. Not for long as things heat up in another thrilling adventure. i enjoyed getting to know more about Robert, and Arthur in this one. Narrated masterfully by Kevin Pierce, of course, another one in this series I couldn't step away from for long

Great story but the ending was weird. Who the heck were the people in the runaway truck at the end?

LOVE FRANKLIN HORTON

I absolutely love this series. Just when you think you have it figured out another twist pops up and throws you into new chaos. The writing style keeps you reading, the characters keep you company, and the story keeps you coming back.

Compound life and Military Drama in TEOTWAKI

This installment of the series is not really about TEOTWAKI it is a post TEOTWAKI military drama and compound life book. The tips for survival here are more about how to live inside a secure environment without killing each other and about the events, adventures and drama of the characters. Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed the book and mourned when I realized I had reached the end. The adventure had many fun and clever twists and it runs the gambit of highs and lows.
of course Kevin Pierce puts in an A+ performance as well.
side note: I had just finished a book in Lisa Akers SHTF series and kept forgetting that Robert is most definetly is NOT Grayson until Robert did some things that are very unGrayson like. If you liked this please consider checking out Lisa's books as well.
