Wow...

Fantastic! Best in Series, and that's saying a lot. Fantastically woven, in depth story with non stop suspense that leaves you simply unable to stop listening! This book and its characters suck you in and won't let go. Add to that the flawless narration by RC Bray and what more could you ask? This is a must listen. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up!

Woah! Say what?

Hold on there are many story holes that need to be filled in. what did Jake experience when he went home to his parents house in book 2? Hiw did it change him? What is the spiral notebook for that is in the desk drawer? Was that a code, and to what? some of the side story lines dragged on for too long and weren't important to the main storyline. I enjoyed the book but was a little disappointed in some aspects of the structure of the storyline and things that were not addressed.

no cheap cliffhangers to make you angry. I hope this is not where the story ends but in all honesty it very well could end here and I would be extremely sad. this series is one of the best I have come across out of the some odd 300 I own in this genre.
thank you for writing such a wonderful and believable story. it was a serious treat.

Couldn’t put this Audible book down!!

From entire story to narrator, this book was by far an excellent Audible book!!!. Once you start listening you won’t be able to start.

Makes sense

I almost didn’t listen to this one after seeing all the negative reviews. To me, what happened in this book made sense. Having said that, I must note that this is a very violent, gun-filled series. On the other hand, after seeing or hearing what we might expect in an apocalypse world, I suppose we would be happy to have those guns around.

As for Jake and Amanda and Gibbs, I was satisfied with who they proceeded to be in their roles in this book. Not sure why the disappointment in Jake - he proceeded from the little we knew him to be. I did feel that the ending left room for Gibbs and Alan to show us “a new way”

I would have appreciated more on building a new sustainable world, but that’s a story beyond this one. Definitely room for more books or a new series.
