Adorably Cute

The story itself was cute, the usual in hiding and scared to come out story line. There were a couple of things I didn't understand like ship lines, I think that's what they were called.
Abby Craden as always brought the characters to life, and narrated beautifully.

Low key loved this book

This book was really enjoyable. It wasn’t brilliant but it was solid writing, nicely paced, and incredibly tender and kind. The MCs just liked each other throughout the whole book and treated each other with respect and care. There was certainly an arc to the plot; they faced some tough challenges together, but overall it was a pretty low conflict read, which was just what I needed. Very warm and fuzzy.

Humor and Love

What a sweet love story with some gut laughs and chuckles mixed in. And the voice of the ever wonderful Abby Craden makes this a must listen!

I like the story but

I did enjoy the story. It was different than what I was expecting when one of the characters is a celebrity. The story was worth my credit. Now for Abby Craden this is the first book where she is bland. I would think the story was about two white women and not two women of color. Ugggh this with a narrator with flavor and spicy to the words of would have been fire!!! Not once in the story did Abby hit the ‘sis’ correctly. lol like damn come on Abby put some mustard on the word.

Cute and fun!

I’ve never been to a fan con, but this book gave me a little taste. Celebrity Andrea and fan Freddie seemed a very unlikely couple, but I found them very cute together. I really gravitated toward poor, clumsy Freddie with her awkward chance meetings. Underneath that, however, was a woman with a big heart and intellect working on her degree in social work. And tv star Andrea grappling with coming out certainly was compelling. It’s a very enjoyable story!

Excellent celebrity romance

Excellent example of a television fan convention. The romance seems believable. The couples challenges are also believable. I like that the characters did not have any big miscommunication episodes.

Amazing character development with a nice and unique level of angst. Abby Craden was amazing as always!
