Almost a stand alone. Very sad for all characters. Very little Carlotta humor. Don’t read as first in the series

How did this mess to sentences get published? Why would anyone think it would make a good read?
Beware …. This is not a cozy mystery. It is a garbled inane something

This book is not for me. The story is so dark and dreary and slow. The narration was okay.
