Publisher's Summary

I am a world-class thief. Or I was, before I got pinched and landed in prison. After I served my time, I decided to get on the right side of the law, or as much as my job at Jameson Force Security allows. The lines sometimes blur, which suits me just fine. My name might be Saint, but I’m a devil to most.

My plan to go legitimate is going as anticipated, until my past and present collide in a big way. While in Paris preparing to take down a ring of highly specialized thieves, I come face-to-face with my biggest threat - and my most dangerous temptation.

Sindaria “Sin” Westin was the love of my life, until her betrayal landed me behind bars. Now I’ve got to find a way to trust her again, at least long enough to pull off this job. When it becomes clear the price for this heist will be our lives, I realize I need to do whatever it takes to keep Sin safe, even if it means trading my life for hers. Because no matter the lies I’ve told myself, Sin’s greatest theft was the day she stole my heart.

Fast Paced, Action Filled Second Chance Romance

Overall 4 stars Performance 4.5 stars Story 4 stars Code Name: Heist had it all - action, suspense, and a sexy second chance romance. Sawyer Bennett did an excellent job of describing and introducing readers to the world of high end thieves. We met Saint in the previous book, but Code Name: Heist can be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed Saint and Sindaria's (Sin) story. They have a complicated history, but I loved that from the start they only have eyes for each other. They both were willing to forgive and change for the other and I appreciated that for the most part, they dealt with their issues maturely and openly. Even the questionable decisions were made from a place of love. There's plenty of action between these two thanks to some forced proximity, and I loved what a team these two were. They excelled in the face of danger and throw in some seriously hot sexy times and I was sold. There is some drama at the end, but it's resolved quickly and the epilogue was so sweet. It really felt perfect after everything Saint and Sin had been through. Joe Arden and Mackenzie Cartwright were awesome as Saint and Sin! I was especially impressed by Mackenzie Cartwright's ability to voice accents so well and Joe Arden's talent for making each of the characters (male or female) distinguishable and unique. I have listened to other titles by both of these narrators before, but this is the first time hearing them together. What a wonderful narrating duo! It isn't all fun and games in this one though, and there is definitely some sadness for the Jamison family. I enjoyed catching up and getting updates on old characters/couples in the series, but also the Cold Fury crossover. I'm very interested to find out more about the final Fournier brother, Malik. This is a fast paced, action filled romance that is sure to be a hit with fans of the series!

I had high hopes...

I really enjoyed the narration and the overall performance of the narrators. My biggest issue was the character's and their "chemistry" . It kills me to say but I felt these characters were just not connecting with me. Their backstory gave it so much potential, but in the present timeline of the story i was just not invested. Also, the stakes of the overall "big heist" was "meh" for me. It kills me because I've enjoyed other stories by this author, but apparently this one felt short for me.

Second chance

Saint has been working for the Jameson Security since he was released from jail after being caught after a heist by his girlfriend, Sindaria "Sin". Now he is working to bring with her again and both are looking for it to be their last job. This is the 3rd book in this series but you can listen as a stand alone and not really miss out on anything but the wonderful previous books. I really liked the fast pace and how Saint and Sin are still attracted to each other. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. Joe Arden and Mackenzie Cartwright do a great narration.

I am obsessed!

4.5☆ Just the fact that Saint and Sin are the couples names automatically makes me love it! Saint has always intrigued me and I really enjoy him. I loved the heist kind of world we are introduced to with these two. It was just fascinating to me. Sin and Saint have such a complex past and the kind of dynamic you don't see much. Between their relationship and all their schemes I couldn't stop listening! This series is quickly becoming a favorite.

Love among Thieves

Saint Bellinger’s story involves foiling a huge theft for an insurance company client of Jamison’s but ends up having him partner up with his former love, the beautiful thief Sindari Weston. Not sure if Saint was originally supposed to be British but his accent is American and Sin’s is British. A very slick action packed sexy storyline that is reminiscent of the classic It Takes a Thief. Lots of sweet moments while attempting depicting these two as good, hard, working, basically “honest” Robin Hood, adrenaline junkies who like fine things and hate violence. Very well done and so far the best of the series, it also sets us up with at least two new storylines - and the possibility of a villain returning in the future. Hope the next installment is as good as this. Joe Arden did a good job as Saint though only so so with Sins voice and Mackenzie Cartwright was terrific as Sin but not great as Saint so too bad this wasn’t duet style instead of duo. A missed opportunity. Also not much depth about Saint’s life in prison maybe because it wouldn’t fit with the character development.

Missed the emotion

This was not my favorite Sawyer Bennett book as I felt no real emotional investment in either character. Sometimes the story would be going on with details about a heist and I’d find myself tuning out. I felt like Joe Arden was rushing through his sections of the book without much verve which is unusual for him. I may ask for my credit back.

Perfect! I need more!!

Ooohh, looks like I’m on a 5-star-listening-spree of Sawyer Bennett books. CODE NAME: HEIST was another amazing audio that I couldn’t stop listening to. The location(s) – Paris, London, Pittsburgh –, the setting, the suspense, the action, the characters – down to their unique, fitting names – their profession, their chemistry, the fact it’s a second chance love story – the list goes on. Sin(daria) and Saint – Yin and Yang – a perfect fit in every aspect, despite – or especially because of their complicated backstory. This one is exactly what I want from a romantic suspense novel: It’s thrilling and sexy, dangerous and heartfelt, all emerged in the dark underworld of complex heists and other illegal activities. The story even contains a nail-biting secondary story which I hope will be positively resolved very soon. Joe Arden and Mackenzie Cartwright compliment the experience of this story even further – distinct character voices and a narration that transports every emotion written on the pages. I want more! …which is why I just might go and find me another story about high-end thieves like these two. I’m hooked!

Good Listen

I loved the original story line to this book as it was nothing like I have listened/read before. I feel like the characters had some great depth to them and I loved their complexity. The story had a smooth flow to it that kept the reader engaged and I definitely was surprised with a few little turns that were drawn during the book. Joe and Mackenzie did a solid job bringing this story to life and really offering the characters some dimension and helping the listener become attached to the characters.

Action and romance, I loved it

Book 3 in the Jameson Force Security, and Sawyer Bennett gives us more action, more danger, and more romance in this addictive thriller. When Saint Bellinger goes under cover to infiltrate a heist ring, he gets more than he bargained for when he’s partnered with his ex, the woman who betrayed him in the worst possible way, Sindaria ‘Sin’ Weston. Yes they really are Saint and Sin - I loved that little twist. However, in order to pull off the heist and catch the bad guys, Saint must put his past with Sin aside to discover what exactly the heist is. But, we get a spanner in the works when those pesky feelings start showing themselves again. Can they pull off the heist, and catch the bad guys without ending up getting caught by the authorities, or worse still getting killed? Is it possible they’ll get their happy ever after and live legitimately in bliss? So much happening, so many things getting in their way. Action, romance, and a story to keep you on your toes. Wonderful writing, and characters, I’m just loving Jameson Security Force. Oh my, I’ve got to say, it’s worth getting the audio just for Joe Arden. I just love the whole sexy vibe he’s got going on. He’s the perfect Saint.

just ok

I've got to say I didn't enjoy this book as much as the other Jameson Force Security books. I liked the characters but didn't enjoy the story. The art theft angle didn't hold my interest. I found it hard to finish. The narration however was great. I love, love, love Joe Arden's voice and he's what pushed me to finish this book.
