This book bundle on coding for gamers was very informative. It provided definitions and examples of different coding languages. There was a downloadable pdf available to support with visuals while working through creating your own code. The books share a variety of free resources that you can use to start a career in coding. There is also reference to a Facebook group where you can get support and ask questions. I would recommend this book bundle for those looking to start a career in game coding.

A Whole New Skillset

You will walk away from listening to this book with a whole new skill set. If you have no coding experience, be patient with yourself. The learning curve is steep, and you will need to take it slow. But the outcome is worth it to learn the basic concepts of coding that you can apply across several contexts in addition to learning a coding language (C#) and building your own game.

The explanations of the concepts in this book are clear and succinct. The PDF is a lifesaver for sure because there are some things you just need to see, especially when you get stuck. Overall, this is a comprehensive step-by-step guide to coding your own game for aspiring programmers and books like this make the barrier to entry extremely low so that anyone can learn in a short period of time.

Wow! Super Informative!

This book bundle was super informative. I don't have a huge gaming development background (I enjoy gaming!), and I really learned a lot from it. I feel like I have a better understanding of HOW all the piece fit together. With my background in web development, I have insight into how the two are related, yet definitely not the same. I especially enjoyed the discussions around Roblox. I have kids who play that and now I understand how easy it could be to write a simple game! There is also a Facebook ground to connect with others and this book is very hands on with downloadable examples plus it walks you through the features you'd need for writing a game. You CAN create a simple game and even complex ones! This 2 in 1 bundle is a great deal and I'm so glad that I got both together. I definitely recommend this set.

Such an interesting and thorough read!

I had ZERO idea about gaming when I read this book. It was so interesting to me that someone with no knowledge could be walked through the process to actually create you own game! SO cool!

I love how there were 3 parts to the training. I like step by steps guidelines and this book delivered!
