Do any of these descriptions apply to you?

  • You bought a box of cereal at the store, and then discovered you have several boxes at home that are already past the "best by" date.
  • You bought a book and put it on your nightstand (right on top of 10 others you've bought recently), but you have yet to open it.
  • You keep hundreds of DVDs around even though you watch everything online now and aren't really sure where the remote for the DVD player is.
  • You spend valuable time moving your piles around the house, but you can never find that piece of paper when you need it.
  • Your house doesn't make you happy when you step into it.

As you try out the many easy, doable solutions that helped Kathi win her battle with clutter, you'll begin to understand why you hold on to the things you do, eliminate what's crowding out real life, and make room for the life of true abundance God wants for you.

Understanding, Practical, and Inspiring!

Listening to Kathi Lipp while I was cleaning out my 1650 sqft garage with a 1200 sqft walk in attic above was inspiring. I finished the audio book in one day while sorting and making numerous truckloads to goodwill. I freed myself of a 200 lb printer I spent $2500 but only used briefly beccause HP didn't make new drivers when they upgraded to Vista. Kathi gave compelling questions to ask when comptemplating what to keep and what to give. Unlike many of the organizational books that are written by people who were born organized, those of us who struggle with clutter will definitely relate to this author who has learned clutter free life skills through frustration. And Kathi Lipp reads her book herself. You won't be bored. Great tips to get rid of the stuff hindering you from an abundant life!

LOVE This Book

Love it!! I have listened to it a couple times, and it really is inspiring and is equal parts inspiring and practical. Kathi gets to the root issues in a loving and kind way, and she has a great sense of humor!

Inspiring but down to earth

I loved this book and the fact that it is narrated by the author. The content was relevant and actionable and I found myself inspired to simplify and improve many areas of my home and life after listening through the chapters. Have already recommended the book to friends and will continue to do so. Highly recommend!

Helped me get busy!

I listened to the book! and I got so much done the first day, I can't wait to see how much I can do tomorrow and I am taking the challenge to get rid of 2,000 items in a year, I think I might be able to get it done before the end of the year! thanks 😊

Apparently, good "Godly men" don't Declutter???

some useful information, though just on par with the average organizing guide. What disappointed me was that I bought this book advertised as a guide for decluttering; what I got was a book written ONLY to women. As I am not one, I naturally wondered what, in the author's view, makes men an inappropriate audience. As this book clearly intends to be pitched toward Christians (the publisher is a clue), does the author believe decluttering to be God-ordained as an exclusively female task. Are men displeasing God if we take an interest in being neat and uncluttered? What's with the narrow gender roles? What gives?

dont. just dont.

ladies of clutter (and guys) - I tried. i *really* tried with this book. i kept waiting for some kind of tips or advice on what to do and how to do it but it was basically story after story about her family and their stuff, which is fine, but it doesn't help me with tips on how to get rid of mine. the author also touches on the religious aspects of clutter which doesn't offend me personally but i didnt really feel it had a place in the book. the author, who is also the narrator stumbles a good bit during her readings and she also has a slight lisp. At the very end of the book Mrs. Lipp does offer some decluttering advice but it the process has 9 steps, 3 boxes, 2 bags and it just seemed like a lot *to me*. you may feel differently. i would recommend listening to the sample read. Maybe you will come away with more helpful information that i received.
