Story
As a leader, you will go through hardship. You will have a vision, and you will see your vision fail; trust me, it will fail in some way. But when you dig into the failure, you will see it through to success. This can happen over and over. You will grow something incredible when you keep pushing. Let yourself evolve through the good and the bad and become the leader that you are meant to be. Stop saying no; say yes! Ask Jesus how you can serve and listen.

Story
The authors outline two possible scenarios for our planet. In one, they describe what life on Earth will be like by 2050 if we fail to meet the Paris Agreement’s climate targets. In the other, they lay out what it will be like to live in a regenerative world that has net-zero emissions. They argue for confronting the climate crisis head-on, with determination and optimism. The Future We Choose presents our options and tells us what governments, corporations, and each of us can, and must, do to fend off disaster.

For over a decade, philosopher and energy expert Alex Epstein has predicted that any negative impacts of fossil fuel use on our climate will be outweighed by the unique benefits of fossil fuels to human flourishing—including their unrivaled ability to provide low-cost, reliable energy to billions of people around the world, especially the world’s poorest people. And contrary to what we hear from media “experts” about today’s “renewable revolution” and “climate emergency”, reality has proven Epstein right.

Greta Thunberg has created The Climate Book in partnership with more than one hundred of these experts in order to equip us all with this knowledge. Alongside them, Thunberg shares her own stories of learning, demonstrating, and uncovering greenwashing around the world. Story
"Reduce, reuse, recycle," urge environmentalists. In other words, do more with less in order to minimize damage. William McDonough and Michael Braungart argue in this provocative book that this approach perpetuates a one-way, "cradle to grave" manufacturing model that dates back to the Industrial Revolution, a model that casts off as much as 90 percent of the materials it uses as waste, much of it toxic. They challenge the notion that human industry must inevitably damage the natural world.

Publisher's summary
Our current path leads to a dead end–but it’s not too late to change course. The first step toward reducing your carbon
There’s an old Cree proverb:
“Only when the last tree has been cut down, the last fish been caught, and the last stream poisoned, will we realize we cannot eat money.”
This simple yet sobering truth holds a mirror to our society’s unsustainable trajectory. A trajectory that threatens the beauty, diversity, and vitality of our shared home.
The consequences of our actions are already unfolding before our eyes—the majestic ice caps slowly giving way to rising temperatures.… Once vibrant corals now standing pale and lifeless…wildfires consuming our forests with a fury that matches our own recklessness…and species after species quietly vanishing from existence.
And yet, if there’s anything to be learned from the wisdom of the Earth, it's the resilience of life.
Now is the time to course correct. To pivot from exploitation to restoration, from destruction to regeneration, from short-term profit to long-term sustainability.
Because our prosperity, our progress, and our very survival are contingent on a thriving, healthy planet.
This book is an invitation to see yourself as a catalyst for change. It's a call to truly belong to this Earth, and care for her as she has cared for you.
Inside, here's a fraction of what you’ll discover:
● The Eco Ripple System—a liberating and empowering method that thrusts you into the driver's seat of change
● The pivotal role of governments in climate change action…use these insights to champion larger-scale solutions
● Successful initiatives by industry leaders that prove profitability can coexist with stewardship
● Strategies to leverage your consumer influence to encourage corporate shifts toward eco-friendly practices
● The surprising economic opportunities presented by climate action, and how you can be an active participant in the green economy wave
● Inspiring stories of individuals who initiated small changes that created powerful ripples of positive impact
● 101 easy-to-implement tips to a greener lifestyle, without completely overhauling your life and much more
Never underestimate the power of even the tiniest change. Be the change you want to see. The power to start creating a greener future is right at your fingertips.

Around the world, geophysicists and mathematicians, oceanographers and meteorologists, engineers, economists, psychologists, and philosophers have been using their expertise to develop a deep understanding of the crises we face. Greta Thunberg has created The Climate Book in partnership with more than one hundred of these experts in order to equip us all with this knowledge. Alongside them, Thunberg shares her own stories of learning, demonstrating, and uncovering greenwashing around the world. This is one of our biggest problems, she shows, but also our greatest source of hope.

Why do the UN and certain politicians in the US and Western Europe continue to promote the fraudulent global warming hypothesis? With regards to the UN, it is all about the money—money for research and to affect socio-economic change. For many politicians, it is all about the power—the power to control the lives of the electorate. Power is the ultimate narcotic.

Story
When it comes to climate change, the media, politicians, and other prominent voices have declared that "the science is settled." In reality, the long game of telephone from research to reports to the popular media is corrupted by misunderstanding and misinformation. Core questions - about the way the climate is responding to our influence, and what the impacts will be - remain largely unanswered. The climate is changing, but the why and how aren't as clear as you've probably been led to believe.

MUST Listen For All Humanity!
In this beautifully produced audiobook, the narrator gives us a powerful message about how severe and serious climate change really is in a way that is engaging and accessible to all. It can seem overwhelming for individuals to think about the scale of climate change and what we can actually do to address the problem.
The author does an amazing job highlighting the Earth's resilience as well as the small actins we can take as individuals to save our planet. I especially appreciated the "Eco Ripple Effect" concept, which demonstrates how small changes over time can compound into lasting influential results!
If you're trying to be a better citizen of the planet but don't know where to start this is the listen for you and it's both inspiring and engaging at the same time - Highly Recommend!
