In the third installment of the MacInnes Saga, Elise finds herself caught between two men, the one she loves and the one who desires her. Even if she chooses Calum, the Stone of Destiny only approves those descended from past kings. Elise must marry someone approved by the stone. Who will it be? Another Great Addition to the Series

Aila Skye did a great job in creating characters that capture your attention. The narrator made this a fun listen by bringing the story to life.

Stone of Destiny

This is book 3 in the series. I recommend reading the books in order to get the most of the series. Elise must marry. Should it be Calum or the Pict Chief? Rules say she has to marry someone approved by the Stone of Destiny. Does either the Pict Chief or Calum qualify? This novella has some interesting twists. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, a good story, good characters. It feels like this is Chapter 3 in the book, more than book 3. Narrator is good, and pleasant to listen to.

Third Short Installment in the Series

This is the third short installment in the Clan Macinnes Series. Elise's story continues where the second book left off. The storyline is entertaining, and intriguing. Looking forward to listening to Mark of the Fox, the next book in the series, to know what happens next. Good narration from John McNee. A Wolfe Among Men!

This is the third installment in the "Clan Macinnes" series. It is not a stand alone story. They must be read in order and do have cliffhanger endings. This is the continued story of Elise MacInnes and MacInnes Clan. Elise must marry and she must marry someone the marry someone approved by the Stone of Destiny. Who will the stone choose? This is a steamy, short and quick read. The narrator does a good job bringing the story to life and laying the ground work. We must read the next story "Mark of the Fox" to see what happens next.

Heart Felt Desires and Decisions

Clan MacInnes: A Wolfe Among Men is the third installment written by Aila Skye. Elise has selected the man she wishes to spend her life with but then life intervenes. Caught between two men and her duty, Elise must marry the man that the Stone of Destiny selects. That man must be descended from past kings … where does that leave Calum? The Wild and gorgeous Pictish Chieftain temps Elise as no other. Will she follow her heart, her wild and passionate desires or will she bow to the Stone of Destiny and fulfill her responsibility to her people?

Aila Skye, the author, portrays the struggles of Elise with clarity and insight into hidden desires. Although there is action in this book, it is more focused on the internal struggle one might face when dealing with matters of the heart and impetuousness of desire.

The narrator, John McNee, once again gives a stunning performance. He has a style of narration that allows the listener to see the characters more accurately. His rhythm is smooth and steady, his pronunciation is clear, and his performance is masterful and polished.

Again, this is a very short book, but it is powerfully packed with emotional and heart-felt desires and decisions. The listener is drawn into the book and ponders whether they would make the same decisions as Elise. The third installment is a natural flow to the series.
