Everything was good until the spanking

Seriously I have no problem with a dominate male lead but treating ones sexual partner like a child because she’s coping badly after being kidnapped and finding out some damning information about betrayal put me off this book. It just pissed me off and it was ridiculous that after her lover treats like a child they go into love making so stupid and inconsistent with a realistic woman unless she is in some type of bdsm. Not for me.

The narrator stinks. The story drags. I fell asleep twice and I haven’t even gotten that far into the story

🔥🔥 Sizzling 🔥Hot Alien Romance

This is really a hold on to your seat rollercoaster ride of a story! Maddie Taylor has so many twists and turns in this book that I was captivated and found it extremely hard to stop listening to it. Darios and Aurelia are enemies but soon become lovers. Their story is filled with adventure, angst, abductions, betrayal, rescues, uncertainties, friendship, loyalty, scientific developments, nasty enemies, sibling trust and loyalty, humor and off the charts hot sex scenes with a little BDSM. Wow, I know I have probably left out some descriptive words. This book is truly a fantastic adventure.

I enjoyed listening to Cliff Bergen. He captured the adventure of this book. A few times I personally did not like how robotic he made a few of the characters sound.

I received this Audible book in exchange for an honest review. I.highly recommend this Audible book. I love listening to books that I want to know what is going to happen next, but I don't what them to end. So buckle up your seatbelts and be prepared for a wild ride!

Great story, bad narrator

I kept listening as I love Maddie's books but sadly the narrator spoiled it for me. His voice seemed faked to sound rougher, sounded like an old man & didn't fit the character in the story.

narration needs work

while the book itself is interesting, the narration was not up to par. I think it would have been better with either a female narrator or dual narration.

I really enjoyed this creative story about prejudice, trust, hope, and love. The plot was interesting, the characters were great, and the chemistry between Dario's and Aurelia was steamy.

I listened to it at 2x speed.

Obediance?????

This book takes women way back to being obedient submissive women who cant have a say. I do enjoy a good spank myself but its mutual and not forced . in this book it is forced and made to be out that she deserves to be spanked and it is for her own good so she will be obedient. As far as the rest of the book it was good it is just a shame it teaches that its okay to force submission on another person.

I want to like this

I want to like this, the story seems interesting, but I cannot stand the Adam West sounding narrating the sex scenes.

Also, wth is up with the line about spanking across the galaxy as a way to encourage domestic compliance.

Great book piss poor narrator!

I loved the story line it was never boring. BUT I had to force myself to listen to it. The narrator needs to listen to himself. He was so monotonous I had to restart the story several times because he put me to sleep. I will READ the authors other books and make sure I never listen to this guy again.

I wanted to like this book.

I really really wanted to like this book as it seems really interesting but the narration is horrible, it's slow and the narrator sounds bored out of his mindlike he is being forced to read someones lecture after the prologue and just ruined it, if I find this book on Kindle I might give it another shot but with the narration just no.
