Publisher's Summary

Sometimes, dreams really do come true.

Everyone has that special someone - their first love. The memory of that person who brings butterflies to your stomach and a smile to your lips.

My first love was Owen Moore. He was my best friend's older brother - a broad, strapping alpha who never failed to make me feel safe. I spent most of my childhood at the Moore's house, their open warmth a welcome relief from the cold reception my own parents gave me. Owen never looked twice at me then.

Now, I'm back in Blackwater, teaching at the local school. Owen's in Blackwater, too, protecting and serving as part of the police force. I still love him - but this time, I'm not a kid anymore. It's time for me to show him just how grown up I really am.

Game. On.

Welcome to Blackwater, Montana: a small town with a big personality, where shifters and humans coexist. Claimed by My Protector is a dual point-of-view shifter mpreg audiobook with a guaranteed happy ending. The first in this series, this story can also be listened to as a stand-alone.

Friends to Lovers

Lukas is so sweet and I loved his story! He returns to town after being away at college and decides to go for the alpha he wants!
This is labeled as book 1 but don’t miss Claiming my
Best Friend (which is set before this story)!

unexpected

I love this author but have never heard anything by this narrator. I have to admit I was apprehensive when I started the audio and almost gave up on it within a few minutes, but decided to keep going. Boy. was that the smart thing to do! This narrator was amazing and it was like I was being read the bed time story of all time. This is one I will listen to over and over and never get tired of hearing this narrators voice. I would highly recommend this audio. I was provided a free copy of this audio in return for an honest review.

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

A very enjoyable Listening Experience

Mr. Muckajev's narration of this book added a lot to my over all enjoyment! I found that the character development and the story lines flowed very well. We meet Lukas who has a serious crush on his best friend's older brother Owen. This infatuation goes all the way back to his childhood. But Owen only see's Lukas as his lil brother Austin's BFF. And from there. things take off, it's a really enjoyable story and the character's are so well developed and so believable, it's like you know them. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good afternoon of listening enjoyment! An avid reader/listener in Rock Tavern, NY.

I'm in love with my best friend's brother

Lucas grew up with uncaring parents so he spent most of his time at the Moore's house. All that time he was in love with my best friend's brother, Owen Moore. Now he's all grown up but still in love. Can Owen realize Lucas is no longer a child and return his love? I really enjoyed this book, great story telling and character development. Nikola Muckajev is an excellent choice as narrator for this book. The fact that he did not try creating totally different voices is a big plus for this audio book. I highly recommend it.

Awesome series

I read this one twice (just like the first book) before writing this. I couldn’t help it. It’s so easy to fall in love with Lucas and Owen’s story. All the characters in these stories are easy to like. I can see this is going to be one of my favorite series. The issues dealt with happen all the time in relationships but are resolved in a believable way. The narrator is the same as the first book and does a fabulous job of bring the emotion of each character to life. You want to laugh or cry as you listen. Love it!

Definitely NOT Safe for Work!

There are a LOT of sexy times in this book. Too much to be listening to at work or around minors. What, you say? You trust your earphones? Okay, I understand. But I think there was a time or two when our narrator sounded a bit bresthless.

Narrator Nikola Muckajev brought the parts. All of the parts. Oh. There is a plot in here, several actually. And, an HEA.

Friends to Lovers

This is a wonderful story that tugs on the heart strings. Lukas had a troubled childhood and spent a lot of time over at his best friend Austin's house. He also spent a lot of time crushing on Austin's brother Owen. After being reunited as adults it turns out Lukas and Owen are fated mates but it takes Owen awhile to come to terms with that fact.
Narrator Nikola Muckajev does a wonderful job.
I recommend this book and look forward to the next one.

Really good!

Overall a really good audiobook. I like that this book is somewhat different from Liam Kingsley’s usual kind of books. It still has romance, action, family and pack life, some action, great characters and of course a HEA. And the narrator managed to bring this book really to life by portraying emotion and character through his voice. Definitely a re-listen.
