I'm in shock

I'm in shock right now. There's a huge plot twist that I didn't see coming. I'm not sure how I feel about it; it's a major curveball. Otherwise, it's my favorite book in the series, chock full of action, death and destruction that supports a great story with awesome characters.

Wonderful narration by Eric Shelman. His pace is consistent and appropriate, as is his voice and intonation.

Awesome series

If you love zombies, you'll love this series. As I am a zombie connoisseur, this author brought a new twist to the moaning, slow zombies.

quickly becoming my favorite series

Mike Evans is a master at writing The Orphans series. Having already read the book I wanted more so I decided to listen to Civil War as well. Eric A. Shelman is incredible at giving voice to the characters and makes listening to an already loved book twice as nice. I have listened to Civil war 8 times back to back for 2 weeks while at work. Can't praise Mike Evans, The Orphans or Eric A. Shelman enough.

Absolutely goes to my top five

I wasn't sure if I would enjoy a teen series but knowing that Mike Evans came recommended by Eric Shelman is all I needed to give it a try and The Orphans did not disappoint. I would love to follow these characters through.

Another excellent instalment

This book follows the teens almost a year following the outbreak. It shows their struggle to survive and their search for other survivors. Is this going to be good for the group or could it lead to danger. The characters are further developed and the narration is excellent! Overall a brilliant read! I'm listening to book 6 already

Predictable.

The story is becoming a bit predictable , the last chapters were entertaining . I thing the audiobook needs a better narrator as it's hard to tell the difference between characters.
