Publisher's Summary

Complete five-book series! Contains the first five books of the City Shifters: The Pride series.

Follow the five lion-shifter Chase brothers on the hunt for true love, as they discover five independent, feisty heroines, evil villains, mysterious pasts, underground fights, family, friends, and happily ever after (times five)!

Thrill of the Chase
Feisty chef Natalia holds her own against corrupt restaurant managers and loan sharks until alpha Logan Chase purchases her restaurant and saves her life. When she learns Logan is actually a lion shifter, Nat is ready to run for the hills. Will their love affair sizzle, or are they a recipe for disaster?

Chasing Trouble
Half-medusa Eloise Deacon has two days to rescue a hyena princess or pay back ten grand in ransom money, with no idea how to do either until Benedict Chase bails her out of jail. He even sticks around after she steals his wallet, his clothes, and his heart. But her half-medusa magic could end up freezing them both if Eloise can't figure out who wants her dead.

Storm Chaser
Leopard shifter Sophia will go round for round with anyone in the illegal underground fights, even Atticus Chase. The only problem is, she doesn't know she's a shifter. Unless she learns to control her leopard, her life is forfeit. With Atticus barely able to control his lion at the thought of losing her, they might not survive to find out what else is hidden in Sophia's mysterious past.

Cut to the Chase
Wolf alpha Ruby O'Shea fends off the advances of most male shifters, but finds her match in Carter Chase, the quiet lion shifter. She's in charge of her pack, her bar, and her life, but when Carter finally gets her in bed, Ruby's only too willing to give up a little control.

Chasing the Dream
Isobel survived years of experimentation in a medical lab and losing her mate young, never dreaming that happily ever after was in her cards - until Edgar Chase rescues her from an auction and helps her dream again.

Chase’s family values are a joke

I saw some negative reviews but I went ahead and purchase this anyway because I am familiar with this writer in another series that I really like. I enjoyed the first two books, Logan and Benedict’s story, but book 3, Atticus’ story, was awful. In the end some Chase family members get abused by the shifter government counsel and apparently the Chase family is OK with that even though we’re supposed believe that they have strong family values. According to this story, family is allowed to be abused because the Chase family believes in the good of the many is more important than the good of the one, the one being a family member. So, by all means, let’s abuse the family member. There were people in the community that were bad guys in this story (members of the council) And then we’re supposed to turn around and support those same bad guys in book four. Ruby was as guilty as the rest of the bad guys, but apparently the Chase family didn’t have any problem with how she supported the abuse to their family member. Then she becomes the love interest in book four. I just had to stop listening.

The females are pathetic

I don’t know what everyone else read but in each story the females characters made me scream in frustration. They said on thing, all tough and in control of their own destiny only to fold at the first sign of trouble with the men or push back. I hate when authors use that as a plot device. Women are resourceful and will walk away and find another way before we cave . My recommendation is to get this from the library.

Done After the Third Book

I liked the characters and the stories until book three. However, the third book made me hate 90% of the characters in the series and honestly I couldn't want an HEA for those characters and since future books in this series and the additional den series involve character I could never really want happy endings for I am done with this series. Since the next story involves Carter, one of my favorites, falling for someone I now loathe, I'm done. If an author wants you to care about characters and hope the best for them, they can't turn them into epic a**holes and expect you to just get over it in the next instance.

Great stories

Really enjoyed the stories and Characters! Was nervous about Atticus’ story due to the reviews, but spell check on one of the reviews would have been nice. It said “she dies” when it should have said “she does”. Wanted to clear that up for others checking the reviews!! It’s worth the purchase for a simple paranormal romance with sex, drama, romance, etc..

Great Narrator's for a poor story

The narrator's are great. That said I have some major issues with the relationships. and Ruby never gave Carter a fair chance and was never on his side. she walked right in and accused him of betraying her based on her own assumptions and prejudice. I liked Carter's character so that really bothers me. shes written like a teenage girl.

leaves you wanting more

I think that a complete series should include all the books, but what you get it great. I enjoyed seeing the progression through the different characters.

Roaring fun entertainment!

5 stories. 5 shifters. 5 times the fun! 5 times the action and romance!

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. You start with 5 bachelors fighting for the survival of their species. While each book is standalone, that is the connecting theme. With each story the lions find their mate, often quirky but absolutely perfect for them. Their community grows within the pride and without. As such, I am looking forward to revisiting these characters again in further books about the larger shifter community this pride is a part of. So much potential! So much fun!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Wow

So enjoyed this Pride complete set. Loved following all of the characters and brothers throughout the series. A great read I am not usually a paranormal reader but did enjoy this.
Narration was awesome too.
