Cider Spiced Omega - penny and sweet

This was one punny book—a great quick read. Drew did a great job with the narration.

Loved Little Simon!

I loved this story, Todd was a sweet and direct. Hugo made me a little mad for not calling his ex on her crap but he was nice. But the show stealer was Simon he was the cutest little thing! Drew Becca did a great job with him!

Super Sweet

This is a super sweet addition to the series and if you're familiar with Hawke at all you know this is a quick fun feel good listen. Bacca does a great job with the narration.

My favorite so far

This sweet romance takes us back to the world of Hollydale, where we see old friends and new. However, it absolutely can be listened to and/or read as a standalone.

Todd is ready for a stress free night, so he goes out. He ends up getting a hot and sexy evening out of the deal. He has a big day coming up; Sausage Shack, his business that specializes in authentic sausages and the like, is getting a new employee. He's excited to see what this new addition to the business will bring to aid in his plan. But seriously, the Sausage Shack steels part of the show with the comedy it adds to the story.

Hugo is a single father who has left a great job as a high-end cicerone and moved to Hollydale to take on a much lower paying job at a restaurant as the brewmaster. He is excited because he is going to be able to create his own artisanal brews, and possibly bottle them if he can convince the owner. When he shows up for work, he's surprised to find out that his hookup from the night before is his new omega employer.

They decide to play it cool and start with working together. Friendship soon follows, especially with Simon and his absentee mother in the mix. Eventually, things move forward, with Hugo getting to chat with the three mysterious mill girls. Simon is adorable, and I enjoyed watching his relationship with Todd unfold. But, his mom is a real piece of work, and tries to get in the way of our MC's happiness.

Along the way, Todd has realized that he isn't just sick, but he hasn't told Hugo. The ex is a big sticking point, and something's got to give. Eventually, Hugo realizes what has been happening, and acts on his instincts. This leads him back to Todd's door and yet another surprise. When all is said and done, the ex is a PITA, but comes around, and our MCs and Simon get their HEA.

Drew Bacca did a great job with the narration once again. The characters are well differentiated, and the pace of the story is kept smooth.

Great Addition to Series

I really enjoyed this Hollydale story and its a great addition to the series. This is a sweet, no angst, slow-burn love story. I liked how their relationship grew from lust-filled one night stand to co-worker to friends to back to lovers. Their round about romance included and I loved Simon, Hugo's 4-year-old son, which definitely upped the cute factor for me. I enjoyed listening to the narrator and he kept me wanting to listen to the next chapter and helped me become more vested into the characters. Great read and listen for me during my commute.
