Christmas in the Kitchen

What a sweet little short for us all to enjoy and fall even more in love with all these characters.

The narration even though it is by the same narrator was a little different.. But still lovely.

A fun little freebie from the author / publisher

A short story set at Dorian's home. Ashaya is baking Christmas goodies with Keenan and Dorian when visitors come calling. Holiday merriment ensues. No real plot and nothing very meaningful is said, but nonetheless the camaraderie is delightful, as always.

Thank you for the gift!

(Admittedly, I opened it long before Christmas.)

A peek inside Dorian/ Ashaya house.

A nice 20 minute teaser to get me in the mood for more from the Psy-Changling world that is coming out next week. Thanks audible for the freebie.

Love This Series!

I love the print version of this slice of life story, and the narrator did good male voices when they were speaking, but when narrating the non speaking parts, it was flat.

did not like it at all

the story didnt seem interesting at all. it felt like it was all over the place. and the narrator did not make this an enjoyable listen. her voice was too harsh and fast. A softer tone and going a bit slower may have made this story a lot more enjoyable.

Great short story.

This short audio book makes me want to go back and read all the stories in the series! Great narration and a sweet short story. You really get a feel for all of the couples.

Christmas baking in DarkRiver territory

Lovely day getting ready for the DarkRiver Christmas party.
We start with Dorian, Keenan & Ashiya, cookies & cupcakes. In walks Kit, then Noor, Jonquil, Talin & Clay. A baking challenge ensues - between Dorian and Clay. Warm fuzzies.
Dawe does a good job of narration.

Too violent

Did not meet my criteria for an easy relaxing read.
Thanks but no thanks! I tried twice to listen. I could not endure such discussions as these characters endured.

Awful narration

The story's alright - not fantastic, not terrible - but the narration is truly awful. I had to turn the volume up to be able to hear the dialogue which is recorded at much loerr level than the almost shouty main narration. The narrator rrads too fsst and her intonation feels rrally unnatural. Ruined the story for me

Lots of characters

First Psi book I've heard although I have read them all non have been available in the UK on Audible. I loved it although only a short book and free (thank you) this was an excellent book to start with. The narrator was fabulous so many different voices as it was filled with so many of the characters and she was great really brought the story to life. I would buy the entire series if it was available.

Interesting, but not what I was expecting

I don't remember why I downloaded this short story, as it was some time ago (last Christmas or the one before) and I had no idea what it was about or what the author writes.

I only listened to this because I'm between books and it was on my unlistened to list and short, I'm pleasantly surprised and will be looking at more books in the series, partly because I'm confused as to the characters (and the cat thing) but also because I enjoyed it. Not badly written and a good narration...

I hope I won't be disappointed by the other books
