Family Western

Christmas in Winter Valley is a wonderful family western. The portrayal of all the men on the ranch finding the women that fills their hearts with joy, and the tender way they cared for them is such a satisfying read. I especially enjoyed reading about the young boy that was orphaned and how the family took on the care of the boy, and showered him with love and kindness. The men and women just pulled the boy into the fold and made him one of them, gave him responsibilities, and showed him he was an important part of their ranch.
Description of the characters, not just the visual , but the moral and individual persona of each person in the book made me feel as if I could see and know these people myself. There were some real gut wretchers in some of these chapters, and made you feel what the characters were feeling.
Jodi Thomas you really packed a punch with this book. Thank you for such an awesome book.

I can't wait for the Netflix series on these books

I'm so excited to see these books brought to life. I know it won't be exactly like the books but still hopeful it will be great! Such great characters! I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series!

I loved this story!

I loved this story about three couples that fall in love before Christmas. I enjoyed listening to the different lives of these couples and how they overcame their obstacles to get the love of their lives.
