Publisher's Summary

Kent crumpled the lame flyer in his hand and looked across the street at the Salty Stix bakery and thought to himself...this is war.

Single father Pierre Duchamp has recently returned to Hollydale with plans to open Salty Stix, an authentic French bakery like the one he apprenticed at in Paris. The omega doesn’t have, need, or even want an alpha in his life - especially a provincial small town rube that doesn’t understand the concept of a little healthy competition.

Kent Hawkins doesn’t want drama. He just wants to spend his days making candy for Sweet Ballz - a place that is so much more than just a job, it’s his life. If only the thieving French baker across the street would quit revamping and one-upping Kent’s recipes.

A one-night stand gone wrong...two dessert loving men who can’t find a way to reduce their boil to a simmer...and a mysterious hippie who keeps accidentally making things worse while he blithely totes around his little harp. Celebrate Valentine’s Day in Hollydale - a sweet little town where strange things happen but your friends are always there to have your back.

This is the fifth audiobook of The Hollydale Omegas series. This audiobook is about 27,000 words and most likely contains an HEA. 18+ listeners only please! And yes, this audiobook contains M/PREG, adults adulting in sexy grown-up ways, and way more than an occasional use of potty mouth language.

Another great addition

Kent finally gets his HEA and it’s wonderful! He steps out of his comfort zone while in Vegas. Imagine the surprise when he realizes that Pierre has moved to Hollydale. They do not get started on the right door but after an interesting discussion involving food, they begin to find each other again. It’s wonderful and fantastic then you add it Amor and it’s perfectly Hollydale romance.

Sweet and fun!

4 Stars!

Chocolate Spiced Omega was another fun and sweet installment in The Hollydale Omegas series. I suggest you read or listen to the previous books beforehand because there are a lot of recurring characters and frankly, they're easy, light reads that I'm pretty sure everyone can enjoy.

While I adored Kevin, it took me longer to warm up to Pierre and really, I wanted to bash his head in when he started the whole competition between their businesses. Never mind that I really couldn't get why Tom and Milo didn't take the time to reassure Kevin when they started siding up with Pierre about it all.

Still, as I said, the book is short and fun with just a dash of angst and Drew Bacca's narration was pretty good, as always. I loved that he even treated us to a bit of his singing voice and I definitely have no trouble recommending this or any of the previous books in the series!

One of my favorites of the series

This is another funny, sexy story in Susi Hawke’s Hollydale series, perfect for Valentine’s Day and chocolate lovers like me. I absolutely enjoyed the passionate one night stand-to-enemies-to-lovers roller coaster relationship between Kent and Pierre, and loved seeing Kent be the sweet alpha I knew he was. Drew Bacca delivers an entertaining audio performance that kept my attention. He does well voicing each individual character differently, though there were a couple of characters I don’t think worked as well as the others. I did like his Pierre quite a bit. Overall an enjoyable audio, definitely recommend.

Food fights and fun

Another cute installment in the Hollydale Omega series, this story runs the gamut of emotions from laughter to rage to love, with a healthy helping of humor along the way. Pierre and Kent are destined to meet, destined to fight, and destined to fall in love. The narration adds an extra touch of special to this story of two men who cannot seem to agree about anything outside of the wild chemistry that rocks them whenever they allow themselves to let go. The altercation that precipitates their reconciliation and eventual commitment to each other is simultaneously hilarious and hot as hell. And of course, that touch of the supernatural, present in each of the stories so far, adds extra magic to this one, even if the wielder of that magic is a bit awkward and keeps missing the mark, pun intended! If you don't mind the speedy move from one-night-stand-lovers to cautious neighbors to raging competitors to friends to true lovers and husbands, you'll enjoy this little romp immensely. Obviously, Drew Bacca's narration helped tremendously with my overall appreciation of this story. He did a great job, as he usually does, of making me "see" and "hear" these people.

Sweet and a little spicy

Kent reminds me of an overgrown puppy, in the best possible way!

He and Pierre are so adorable, and it's good to finally see him get a happy ending.

As always Hawke's writing style is fantastic, but once again, I just didn't connect with Bacca in this book as much as I did in Peppermint Spiced Omega. He's not bad, it's just something about his inflections in Kent's voice, although I found his Pierre very good.

another good hollydale book

I love this series. While characters are recurring, the books can still be stand alones. Everyone is so open and loving it would be nice if there was really was a hollydale.

Vegas And Golden Arrows

This is the fifth book in The Hollydale Omegas Series. A sweet book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters charming. The characters were developed and thought out. Kent and Pierre are the MC’s of this book. There was humor, Alphas and Omegas, pastries, chocolates, children, friends and family, golden arrows and more in this book. The narrator did an excellent job narrating this book. He had different voices and wasn’t monotone. I can recommend this book as a good read and listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Battle of the confectioners...yum!

I love these Hollydale Omegas and Pierre is an interesting addition to the bunch as his story is intertwined with Tom's as a shared trauma from their past. He was hoping what happened in Vegas stays in Vegas when he comes face to face with Kent, the chief confectioner at the Sweet Ballz shop managed by Tom and owned by Cecil, Pierre's new friends.
An unexpected pregnancy adds fuel to the fire as Pierre's new Salty Stix pastry shop goes to war with the former favourite sweet treat shop in town. A hilarious hippy called Amor starts popping up around town as do some golden arrows.
This is a fun, feisty, flirtatious fight to the finish as one stubborn alpha takes on an obstinate omega.
Drew Bacca does an amazing job of giving voices to the guys and bringing the story to life.
Highly recommended for all lovers of MPreg and fans of Susi Hawke everywhere.

Another sweet addition to the series :)

Another cute pairing between a feisty omega and a cool, loving Alpha. The story, (indeed, the series), is probably best experienced listening to the audio. Drew Bacca has been great with characters from the start, and it's a pleasure to listen to him voice the different characters. What's really nice is that when any of the characters from the previous books pop up, it feels like one is listening to old friends - since Mr. Bacca remembers how he voiced them, especially Tom (he's my favourite!).
I really enjoyed the story and I especially liked the little nugget of info referring to another series.

I was gifted a copy of the book without any expectations. The opinions expressed are my own without bias.

Cupid strikes

This was a really quick listen full of great characterisation, omega Drama and FUN. Drew Bacca is as always spot on with the characters. Cupid visits Hollydale this time and he’s adorable. When all these children grow up, they’ll need to extend the town to fit them all.
A one sit joyous listen.

Cute and fluffy.

I enjoy the light heartedness of this series. It’s perfect for when you just want some sweet feel good romance fille with sassy omegas and sexy alphas. This one had a lot of fun in the back and forth between the MCs which really spiced it up!
