Chocolate Pudding with a Side of Murder

Sabrina has just found out she's pregnant and her and her husband are over the moon. When she goes to work out camp the next day she sees her friend David and he looks terrible. She worries about him and when he doesn't show up the next day she goes to his place to check on him only to find his body. She calls her husband who arrives with his squad. Now Sabrina needs to take a backseat to the investigation to keep herself and her baby safe.
Stephanie Quinn is a fantastic narrator and brings the characters to life. Her rendition of Sabrina is perfect as she adds notes of sadness, worry and happiness with just a twitch of her vocal cords.

Cute cozy

This blurb tells you all I can without spoilers so I'll skip the rundown. You can read/listen out of order since this was my first book in this series and I quite enjoyed it. It’s a cute, fast-paced cozy mystery.
At first, I wasn’t a fan of the narration. I didn’t like the fake man’s voice the narrator used, but all in all the rest of the narration was good. If you like, cozy mysteries, Husband and wife duos, cute corgis, and chocolate pudding… You will like this.

Great Read

Chocolate Pudding with a Side of Murder was another good read by Meredith Potts. Sabrina has found out that she's pregnant which causes her to take a break from investigating crimes. There is a new murder in town and Sabrina is determined to stay out of it. Unfortunately that isn't in the cards for her. I loved reading this book and can't wait to read more by Meredith Potts.

A bun in the oven!!

Sabrina & David are normally a crime solving duo who do everything together. This time around though, Sabrina is trying her hardest to stay far away from crime because she found out she’s pregnant! However, circumstances pulled her in, and the duo are back together for another short & enjoyable cozy!

Sabrina has self-control! :-)

Chocolate Pudding with a side of Murder: Daley Buzz Cozy Mystery, Book 11 by Meredith Potts, narrated by Stephanie Quinn is a great addition to the series. At a little under three hours, this cozy mystery is short enough to finish in one sitting or over the course of a day or two, if you prefer to spread it out. It is both relaxing and engaging, and even though it is part of a series, there is enough background info that it could be considered a standalone. But, it's so much more fun to start at the beginning...don't you think?

Stephanie Quinn's performance as narrator is great! I love listening to her because her voice is inviting and clear. She has different voices for different characters, making it easy to follow along, and her pace and volume are perfect for this book.

I give Chocolate Pudding with a Side of Murder: Daley Buzz Cozy Mystery, Book 11 by Meredith Potts, narrated by Stephanie Quinn 5/5 stars. I liked that Sabrina showed some self-control in this book, but was still able to help solve the case. I recommend it to fans of cozies or clean mysteries. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope it was helpful.

Happy listening! :-)

Protect that bun...

Sabrina and David are expecting a bundle of joy, so when a murder case comes up, it only makes sense for Sabrina to take a step back. No matter how hard she tries to stay out of it, the behind the scenes work just keeps pulling her back in!

As a new narrator to the series, i found that Stephanie Quinn’s interpretations of the characters was a little off from what I’ve come to expect. It wasn’t bad, just different.

Such fun listens

Finally! Now that David and Sabrina are married we find out she is pregnant. And what should happen, but another murder in Treasure Cove! As much as Sabrina wants to help David with the investigation, she knows it is not in her best interest to put her "bun in the oven" in danger. But in true Sabrina style, she is a sleuth who can work behind the scenes and still help her loving husband find the guilty one. I love the spunk in these stories, the continuous friendships, the puppy that always is around and how David and Sabrina have grown over the course of the series. It's plain fun, a little thinking to help solve the puzzle andhave a couple of hours of entertainment. Stephanie Quinn keeps it fresh with her energetic narration.

Oh, I loved it!

Finally! The book in which Sabrina discovers she's pregnant! Or with a 'bun on the oven', as she puts it :P

Sadly, nothing can be perfect, and quite soon the murder of one of her friends disrupts hers and David's happiness :( I really liked how they deal with the way in which the new circumstances affect Sabrina's sleuthing, very sensible.

But, of course, Sabrina IS Sabrina and she needs to do as much as she feels it's safe to do to help her husband to find the killer.

Another great story in this series =D
