Really sweet story. I cried and smiled through out the whole book. Performances by Stella and Connor were great.

Always bittersweet reading the final book in a series. I've been waiting for Olivia and Asher's story since Holding the Reins when I first spotted their connection and Chasing the Fire was 100% worth the wait.

First of all, oh my God their chemistry was SO GOOD 🥵🔥
"Asher’s eyes meet mine across the aisle, heating as they glide over my body. He isn’t coy; he doesn’t try to hide it. He looks at me like it’s his right to do so, like nothing would pull those mercury eyes away. Call it the romance of the day or simply the fact that I haven’t had sex in what feels like eons, but more than ever, that heated way he’s been looking at me since the night of my fire is starting to feel less like coincidence and more like unfinished business." The way they've been making eyes at each other for FOUR BOOKS and to see them finally come together was perfection. 💕💕💕 Asher spent years obsessing over Olivia. I love a man with slight stalker tendencies 😭 (in a good way, promise).

I loved this book! So many emotions. Sad, funny to spicy moments. Asher reed is A super tall 6 ft something biker dude who is a volunteer fireman into work working, trying to escape his past and likes to keep to his self . Olivia A sweet girl who owns her own shop but is accident prone. Asher can’t help but being drawn to watch over her and protect her from heart herself. The banter was great. One minute I was laughing the next I was crying then I was right back to crying again:) such a great book:)

Surprise baby

I love a surprise baby story! I love when the MMC is a golden retriever to our MFC but a little dominant too! I mean, her calls her little mama…so hot! Great listen, I enjoy this author.
Narrators were awesome too.

Loved Asher and Olivia’s story.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the entire Silver Pines series and Chasing the Fire was definitely one of my favorites. This surprise pregnancy trope combined with some serious chemistry between Asher and Olivia and the sparks were flying. It was such a joy to be there as they gave in to the pull they felt towards one another and finally fell in love.
Olivia was simply sweet and maybe a bit clumsy but she easily won my heart. Asher however was more complicated.
I love a broody, hot fireman with a touch of mystery and Asher ticked off all the boxes. However, he has been keeping a very big secret from everyone but his past is creeping back. Can he finally enjoy the love of a family that he never thought he would have without his past ruining it all? Read, enjoy and find out how these two built a beautiful family together.
I also had the added benefit of listening to the audio version of this story and the narrators did an amazing job that absolutely added to my enjoyment of this book.
