Taylor Finn aspires to be a stunt driver, but driving a limo is what pays the bills. When she finds herself chauffeuring a drunk guy harassing his date, she leaves him stranded and is sure she’s going to get fired. Maybe it's finally time to pursue her dream.

Iris Fleming’s flight to Atlanta was a scene from a disaster movie, the scariest landing ever. She’d desperately wanted a part on a new sci-fi series, until the director made a pass at her. Now Iris doesn’t want the role and has no intention of getting back on a plane.

Making their escape from Atlanta, Iris and Finn end up at Hideaway Haven, in neighboring cabins. Iris isn’t sure what’s scarier, sexy Taylor Finn or woodland nighttime noises. But maybe they can help each other out. There are schools for stunt drivers in LA, and Iris needs a ride. Wrong turns and roadside hijinks ensue as Iris and Finn set off on a road trip, chasing the sunset and falling for each other along the way.

narrator makes the story

The narrator is absolutely wonderful. such a delight I'm looking into more books narrated by her.

Missouri Vaun is awesome. I loved this story. the road trip was awesome. loved both MCs.

Road trip

Finn’s dream is to be a stunt driver and the best schools are in California. Iris is best known for her Doritos commercial but wants a more serious role. They meet under strained circumstances and decide to travel together across country. They fall for each other and start sleeping together. Finn has her dreams crushed and she turns tail and heads home. Iris can believe they can’t make it through one fight. Great romance with a lot of heat. Keira Grace was wonderful with her narration. Love Missouri Vaun.

Fun trip with interesting love storyline

I thought it was cute and the narrator does a great job. The storyline didn’t feel typical and I enjoyed the butch femme romance.

Loved the flow of the story. Very good narration.

Vaun is such a talented writer. This intimacy between the characters was palpable and exciting. They oozed sensuality. Fab narration, cadence and accents added so much to the work.

Disappointed

I think I will stick to reading books by Missouri Vaun. Narrator ruined this for me.

Even the trip from Georgia to California was nothing

I thought this will be a great story full of action, and scenery, it had one set mind, sex (which is great) and sex (which started to be redundant) and sex (which started to be annoying.)
As much as I love sex scenes when I listen to a story I want to have a plot... this became barring up to a point that an hour and a half before the end I stoped it and moved on.
