I really enjoyed the chanting throughout. It's pleasant for meditation or background. My only issue is with the end chapter. It starts with an outtake (no problem, it's cute), but then all calmness is intruded upon with a horribly cheesy rendition of the Paramita Sutra, then the tape starts inexplicably speeding up & slowing down, leaving your nerves jarred & jangled!

I purchased along with chanting from the heart so I could make notes and follow along. i like 60% of the chants. which is more than enough to have a 30 min morning meditation. I would say dont purchase without the book chanting from the heart.

I’m a solo practitioner at the moment, and since I can’t read musical notation I bought this in order to learn the chants in chanting from the heart. Unfortunately the chapters are numbered instead of being labeled with the name of the chant, which makes it difficult to use for that purpose. I’m not even sure why the chapters are numbered since giving the titles would be the obvious way to present something like this.
