Publisher's summary

Contains the complete Catgirl Doctor series.

Catgirls have had a symbiotic relationship with humans since time immemorial. Many young men long to become breeders: humans who are responsible for quelling a catgirl’s lust when they go into heat.

Chris Redford was just a normal college student attending San Diego University for his PhD in catgirl physiology and medicine to become a catgirl doctor. When he comes across Silva, an abused catgirl, Chris finds his purpose in life and shifts to accommodate his new responsibilities. Once he learns about what happened to the young catgirl now in his care, he is forced to confront the darker side of humanity.

Catgirl Doctor contains adult content, themes, and harem situations. It does not pander to prudes.

A Beta Male Power Fantasy, The White Savor Returns

Let us start with the good then plumb the depths of trash attempt at mixing erotica with intersectionality. The writing is competent, if technical, with decent structure and adequate grammar checking. Like most social justice writing it lacks feeling. This is because the writer must tell not show the reader\listener so it reads like a biblical allegory. This makes it pace like a recipe, Chris white-knighted this and Chris listened to women say that. There are no literary flourishes, which makes the erotic scenes a painful listen. Like what an 8th grader would think what intimacy was after their first sex ed class. Of course this story is not erotic fiction about catgirls, no my dear gentle consumers, it is about oppression. This world is where catgirls do not have equal rights and must be owned. There is even a government agency to tell them what they can or cannot do. Wow, it is good to see that Southern California is as a forward looking as 1850s Alabama. Like human women, catgirls need human male to procreate and outside of the tail, ears, and social ticks they are little different. Why are they second class citizens then? In the story all are capable individuals with some even holding professional jobs. Is what the writer saying, something to the effect that males oppress females because it take both sexes to procreate? The story structure is there in a men bad, except for the beta male white savior, women rock sort of way. If you are in to that, fine, but it makes Chris, the protagonist, a creaper. He hides his intentions throughout the story to make himself look like the good guy in all instances. The writer's idea of the perfect male is to be so considerate to the girls that they fall for you instead of being friend zoned. Ugh. Stating your intentions matter and communications are a two way street. The other issue is grape. Chris has carnal relationships with his property...oh catgirls. Even if this is 'consensual' it is still grape as they have no choice, only the illusion of it in the story. Maybe in future stories, write about fighting the system, rather than having the protagonist conform and become an institutionalized graper. As for the Japanese aspects, the writer scanned some Wikipedia articles rather than taking the time to understand the culture. The tropes, from the sudden girlfriend appearance to the pop out love rival and naked apron bits are all written like they must be checked off some sort of checklist. Even the good voice actors could not emote enough to make these interesting. The TR;DR, OK first book, unlistenable second book, there is more if this? Not happening. Too bad, some of their other stories are actually decent.

Very good story

A good story with very likable characters. The pacing is good with the right balance if action, sexy time, and character development. The narrators did a great job with becoming the people in the story and allowing me to just lose myself in the book.

Great slice of life harem!

I really enjoyed this Omnibus.
it was a great little alice of life harem that had some great character moments. The voice acting was superb, and I never knew I wanted little mewling moans from my cat girls. Jessica Threet goes over and above for this one.

I really hope this series continues!

A Refreshing Slice Of Life!

An easy weekend read with a light storyline. Very nice after so many action packed series in the harem fantasy genre. I can't recommend it enough as long as you know it's not a very deep series going into it.

Relies too heavily on Anime logic and tropes

Not too bad, but I wish the author spent more time on original world-building for *Cat Girls* and/or research on what med school's actually like, given how much it's (over) explained.

good view on catgirls

The story was entertaining, Two of my favorite voice actors and good to hear some anime tropes set in California.

Meh

It’s written well enough. Character’s were alright. There were some decent jokes too. It however was too slice of life and I may be a fellow weeb too but there was way too many anime troupes. Over all just wasn’t all that exciting, it was too much like a regular day at life just with cat girls. Needs more excitement and action not just sex.

Stupid

Author or main character is an idiot. Waits more than 12 hour to call cops after rescued cat-girl said she was concerned about other cat-girls she lived with after abusive owner started fighting and there were gunshots at the house she was kept at.

A interesting story

First, never been able to get an omnibus series of 3 books when only 2 are out. 😊
Second, the storyline is well done as each have a beginning and a respectable ending. Not ending in a cliffhanger. 😉
Third it’s great when the author uses banter in the current timeframe which makes it a very enjoyable read. Case in point several times current anime series are mentioned along characters in cosplay.
The story is well performed by the 2 narrators and bring it to life.
Well done, can’t wait for the next book!
