i loved the narrator who kept me captivated with this beautiful story. well written and strangely captivating. i could not stop listening to this book.

Sweet survival story

I really enjoyed listening to this story. The story of survival with plenty of highs and lows. I love it when a book captures me so much that I want to know the characters. This book did just that.

I love everything about this book

A friend told me to run out and get this book, and so I did. Sort of. I grabbed my phone and downloaded the audible. It's such an engaging story and the narrator is fantastic. I listened to it on a long drive, and it made the time fly by. Everyone should experience this book.

Left me in tears

This is the kind of book that you never wanted to end and when it does, you want more. It's beautifully written and performed and you really benefit from listening to it since one of the characters has a beautiful French accent.

Well worth the listen

No spoilers, dislike getting caught off guard by them as I nearly did with this gem.ffortunately I noticed an allusion to the ending on a review I scrolled past..... Seems slow first couple chapters, after that you'll be fully engaged

Entertaining

Nice change of scenario. Great narration. Nice imagery of the surrounding elements on the island.

I loved it but.....

The ending was an utter disappointment. What happened? How??? Such a great book and so well written up until the ending that didn’t quite follow through. Such a pity. So much potential that the author just dropped the ball on at the end. I’m sorry but a good book is like a good journey, whatever the outcome, it follows through and draws you in and compels you. This one did not do that but the author has potential. Perhaps given time and experience. We will see
