Publisher's summary

Listeners are loving this cozy mystery series with its two indomitable dog sleuths. Zack, Jillian, and the corgis, Sherlock and Watson, are at it again in this delightful series that pulls you right in.

A mysterious package appears on Zack Anderson’s doorstep. When he opens the crate, there’s an elaborate silver chest, obviously quite old, with Celtic markings and no apparent way to open it. Zack is almost content to accept the artifact as a decorative item…until people start coming after it. The only conclusion is that the box contains something of great value. Zack, Jillian, Sherlock, and Watson are on the case, tracking down the unusual item, learning tidbits about the box’s history, and discovering that it dates back to an unsolved theft in Ireland more than a hundred years ago.

Can Zack, Jillian, and the corgis piece together the clues and find out what’s inside the little chest before it gets snatched from their hands forever?

The Corgi detectives!

cozy-mystery, situational-humor, verbal-humor, amateur-sleuth, car-chase, corgi, disguising, friendship, law-enforcement, Oregon, puzzle-box, suspense, vintner, investigation, small-business, small-town, relationships*****

How can you NOT like the books in this series?! Especially since they are interpreted by popular voice artist Bob Johnson?
This episode has suspense, car chases, disguises, tracking devices, and the craziest assortment of villains. Oh, yes, and the Crown Jewels of Ireland! Good fun, fine sleuthing, a guaranteed good read!
The stories do NOT have to be read in any kind of order as the author catches you up on the salient points with each book.

This series is so good! The audiobook narration is

So, a mysterious box appears, and it appears to possibly contain a mystery not solved in the last 100 years! The Irish Crown Jewels! Yes, I did a search, and it's still a mystery. I love a good mystery that has me going to google to see if it's based off a true event... and it is! Super neat! A lot of fun. The characters are always great, and the mystery fun. And as always, Bob Johnson is incredible with his narration!

Book 12 and they just get better and better.

All my favorite things in one great story! A great cozy mystery, Ireland, dogs, and Sherlock (who I named my dog after). This is book 12 in this series, and Jeffrey Poole keeps making them better. I have been reading this series from book one and love them all. The audiobook was narrated by Bob Johnson who has narrated this entire series and done a wonderful job. Bob is now the voice of Zack Anderson for me. When I hear Bob's voice I know I am in for a real treat.

The Corgis and the Puzzle Box

I loved this sweet, funny, thoroughly engaging cozy mystery.
Zack receives a mysterious package that somebody else is desperate to recover and, of course, the corgis are on the case, as are the usual assortment of Pomme Valley denizens.
I really enjoyed trying to figure out a whole assortment of mysteries in this one.
A great story all the way around.

Case if the Shady Shamrock is a fun and entertaining cozy mystery. I enjoyed the interactions between the characters and the mystery was well written. As always Bib Johnson did a great job as narrator. I'm not sure I could listen to this book without him.
