Case of the Dysfunctional Daredevils

Zack and friends are at it again. Only this time they are "gently" talked into helping a Marshall apprehend a killer. Only too that our intrepid heroes need to join a Daredevil group. To Zack, Vance and Harry's dismay they need to participate in activities that have the potential of leaving their hair white and maybe other embarrassing things. But they pull it together and join in. Now there are two more murders and a description by the Marshall that is uncovered. Will our three middle aged heroes survive!? Thank goodness they have the corgi pair to help sniff out clues!!
Bob Johnson is perfect as Zack and he brings each character to life!!
Fantastic audio and story!!

Another fun excursion!

amateur-sleuth, cozy-mystery, family, friendship, law-enforcement, murder, murder-investigation, dogs, situational-humor, angst, verbal-humor, corgi*****

If you've never met these two fun and furry crime solvers (Mr Sherlock and Ms Watson) and their widowed humans, you're missing a lot of fun! In this episode their friend and cop is first told to take a vacation because he as too much overtime, then he is askes by a US Marshall out of Texas to help him locate a deadly perp who is adept at disguising himself. This leads to the friends joining an adventure group just at the cop's 40th. Much sleuthing, danger, and hilarity ensue! The dogs win and so does any reader.
All of the characters certainly are, and the sleuthing is well done. Loved it! Easily a stand alone, but why?.
Bob Johnson aces the narration with just the right touch that highlights the humor by downplaying the guffaws.

Fun Series

I received this book for free. I am voluntary posting this review and all opinions expressed herein are my own.

This is the ninth installment of this series. It is a standalone adventure/mystery and it is not necessary to have read any of the prior books in the series to enjoy the story.

This is a light and easy listening series with fun characters and adventures, and two adorable corgis. Here, Zach and his pals get involved with a daredevil group to find an escaped prisoner. Each escapade has good humor but as always, the pups are just a little smarter then everyone else.

Bob Johnson is the narrator of the entire series and does a great job as always.

Another fantastic book by Jeffrey Poole narrated b

There is a serial killer loose in the small city, and Zach finds himself mixed up in it all again! And of course, Sherlock and Watson are eager to help. The problem? Well, he needs to get into a daredevil group. You know, jumping out of airplanes, bungee jumping, white water rafting. The problem? Well, he may have a chicken suit in his closet he doesn't want to expose, but such daredevil activities aren't really his thing!

A lot of fun, as are all of Jeffrey's books, and with Bob Johnson's excellent narration, it just makes listening to these books an absolute blast. I really look forward to the next adventure!

Danger and Dogs

Helping a U.S. Marshal track down a fugitive mass murderer has Zack and Vance trying out things they never dreamed of while the corgis employ their usual sleuthing skills in this daredevil adventure mystery. Figuring out who's killing people will keep you guessing and the quirky, lovable denizens of Pomme Valley will keep you smiling and leave you anxiously waiting to find out what Zack, his friends and his lovable corgi mystery hunters will get up to next.
Another great installment in the Sherlock and Watson series.

Love this book and series

I just love this fun series. Book 9 is just wonderful and if you haven't read all in this series not a problem as this book could be easily read as a stand-alone. Sherlock and Watson are of course in this book but just not as stand out in your face as some of the other books. I really enjoyed getting to see the cast of characters doing some tasks that were way out of their comfort zone. Can't wait to read book 10 and see what fun adventure it will take us on. Once again Bob Johnson is the narrator of this book and I just love his voice. For me, he makes the story even better like extra icing on the cake.
