Gritty fun love story

I had no great expectations when I purchased this book but I really loved listening to it! It was funny, descriptive and engaging. I was literally talking out loud to the characters. A must have!!!

This is a very good read overall. It explores the depths of the character just enough to keep the reader interested. I don’t want to give away too much so I’ll just leave it at, you won’t be disappointed!

OK Plot Twist!!!

I’m new to the Carl Weber crew, and I must say, I like it here. I loved the storyline. The narrator was ok, it took a few chapters for him to grow on me. I personally appreciate a male and female narrator but it all came together..

I am fascinated with this author. I listened to this book straight through. I loved the plot twist and normally the main characters would self sabotage… these people really have common sense!! I love a book that glorifies real black love and the most unexpected places you can find it.!
