the main character is insinuated effectively in some of histories most engaging events
i like the story with its logical twists and stimulating events. it is well thought out and period correct in language and analysis of events. this while series is the outstanding series in the genre of naval historical fuiction. it sets the bar.

A joy to be back in the Caribbean
I deeply enjoyed this installment of the Kydd series but the performance seems to be missing something from the previous books and the voices have changed somewhat. Perhaps it's just me?

Thomas in another mystery
What did you love best about Caribbee?
It was a great mystery how the French was out smarting the Royal Navy
What was one of the most memorable moments of Caribbee?
I enjoyed the recovery of Thomas's servant Tiito, form the planter who wouldn't give him back
Have you listened to any of Christian Rodska’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Without a doubt Mr Rodska is one of the true professional who brings life to his characters in such a way that makes listening almost spell bounding. Keep up the good work
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Near the end when the men came forward in Cpt Kidds defense. The old admiral handled it in a way that touched my heart

Look forward to reading the next one audible puts out. Mr Stockwin has written some winners so far and we look forward to more
