The French fleet is massing in the Basque Roads in a near impregnatable position. The Admiralty orders Cochrane to command an attack, to the chagrin of more senior officers who object to being overlooked and Cochrane's reputation for daring. A Good Continuation of the Kydd Story
I like what Stockwin did with the latest episode in the Kydd series. Well written, and the performance by Rodska was excellent. Only one book in this series was a failure. This was one of the better ones.
