Excellent story, with some scientific information

This is a very well written, well performed audio book. This adventurous story keeps the reader interested, with enough character development and backstory to give great context to the story. The descriptions of the scenery, the characters, and the events painted a vivid picture in my mind as I listened to the story. There is also some very informative, (but not too technical) explanation of several renewable energy sources incorporated in a way to add to the story but to not hang the reader up on the technical aspects of the technologies.

Packed with information AND adventure!

Wow! After finishing Captain Glow, I feel like I am up to date on Clean Energy! I was very impressed by all the information the author has packed into this great read. I learned a lot but at the same time was entertained by an adventure/mystery that kept things exciting to the end. The reader of this audiobook does a fantastic job. Often when listening to other books, I have had to speed it up to stay focused….not with this reader! His voice fits the story nicely and his speed is perfect! A good book for teens and adults that want to learn more about alternative energy sources in an interesting and engaging way!
