Inspiring and Insightful

my name is Danielle, and I am also a mother to a child with NORRIES disease. I read this book and hopes to understand what this could potentially look like for my child in the future, though every child is different. my baby is 3 1/2 months old and I have felt very similar things toward grief and guilt that I gave my child this genetic disorder. This book is well written and heart, wrenching and inspirational, the author views, her child as a gift, and that he has taught her, a whole new way to experience and enjoy the world around her. Her sons happiness, even though he has such struggles, does not falter, because he is determined to live his best life with the help of his family. I hope that I can do a great job for my son as Carla has done for hers, and remind myself that my son is also going to teach me things that I never expected. Thank you for sharing your experience because now I know what a residence board is!
I gave this five stars because Cameron‘s story deserves to be heard!

Carla - I felt every piece of your story. Its beautiful, its real but wow - what an amazing mummy you are and... I can see that smile even when listening to it on an audio book.
