Cute read.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would most recommend this to someone with a child just learning to read or who had a child they wanted to read to and for some reason couldn't. I got a kick out of it even as an adult, but it is definitely a kid's book. I would recommend getting the eBook as well for the pictures and so that a child could start to follow along with the words.

Any kid's book, especially one about animals illustrated with photos.

Have you listened to any of Kitty Hendrix’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. I love all her narrations. I think she adapts beautifully to this genre.

Little kitty, big adventures.

I kept putting off writing this review because I wanted to read/listen to it with my goddaughter so I could give a genuine kid's perspective. Still haven't gotten around to that, but I still think it would be good for kids. I think audiobooks for kids are especially helpful for kids who struggle a bit with reading so that they can get a taste of the joy of reading even if they are still a bit slow at reading themselves.

This is Perfect for Children!

"Callie the Calico Kitty" is a super cute audiobook. Callie lives in Texas on a country ranch named 'The Little Orchard' with another tiger striped kitty named Double and a guard dog named Peanut who has a loud bark. She sees several other animals that at first seem scary because they're large and soon learns that they're horses, a goat, a donkey, and an owl.

This is a perfect story and grandma approved! My grandchildren would love listening to Callie explore and learn new things, such as the blackberry bush, birds, locusts, katydids, and a skunk. I loved listening to this story myself. It's really cute, especially when Callie and her brother and sister saw a dusting of snow for the first time.

This is an excellent story for children written by LaVonna Moore. I would definitely recommend this audiobook. It's a good length for anytime listening. Terrific!

Kitty Hendrix does an exceptional job reading this book. She was consistent throughout the story with great voices. You can't go wrong with this one and I look forward to more.

Callie The Calico Kitty is more than just cute; it's exquisite! I think Callie will be a best seller! This would make such a wonderful gift for any child. I thought it was just charming.

ADRORABLE LITTLE DIVA!

I could listen to this precious kitty all day long. The author has done a wonderful job dressing this little diva in all of the costumes. I've never known any cat that would pose for a photo shoot in all of the different outfits that Callie wore. Kitty Hendrix did an amazing job with such enthusiasm in her performance as all of the different characters. I found this story very entertaining for children and adults, too!

Enjoyed it just as much as my daughter did.

I purchased this for my daughter because she’d.been asking for one after she’d watched me get sucked into book after book that she said sounded “boring”. She wanted one of her own. This is a very cute story, makes you seem like you’re really there. The narrator was excellent which helped make the story so good. I’d definitely buy more books by the same author or the same narrator. We’ve listened to this so much, she almost has it memorized lol.

Kids will love this book!

This is a marvellous book that captivated the reader from page one. The main character, Callie, is a lovely, childlike character who leads you through her wondrous journey of learning about the countryside. The narrator does an excellent job telling the story, using various, engaging voices that make this story enjoyable for both parent and child.
This is the kind of story kids would want to listen to time-and-time again!
