Busted Play

I loved listening to this book. The characters were excellent and I loved the growth that took place between Melanie and Chance. I love the author for tackling the topic that most are not comfortable writing. I also, love the narration. Most of this book will have you listen to each detail til the end. Can’t wait for the next book.

Mutual benefits

Busted Play by Stella Marie Alden is not only a well written romance, but this audible version is spot on with the narrator! Jonathon Waters brought CJ and even Melanie to life.
I really enjoyed these two characters. They are witty, fun and sometimes serious but ultimately meant to be together. There's plenty of drama in here too along with some steamy scenes to steal your breath.

Stella Marie Alden has written a heartfelt story! C. J. was a football player and injured his knee in a car wreck. He went to physical therapy to have a physical therapist work on it. He was worked on by a sexy woman named Melody. At first he didn’t want her to touch him. Then sparks begin to fly in more ways than one.
Jonathan Waters is a great narrator. He can do both male and female characters with ease. He brought the emotions into the story and I loved it.

I listen to this series out of order. I glad I went back. Now I totally understand what happened.I definitely enjoyed this one .

Hot and full of angst

Very fast moving book that you will have a hard time putting down. The two main characters Melanie and Chance were very well developed along with the storyline. My only issue was with the length of the book. I was really hooked and then it was over. While this book does not require that you read the rest of the series, you will want to just to see where Stella, has taken the characters. Could just as easily have been one long book.

Angsty and deep with heat

Busted play will make you laugh, make you cry, make you rage and hold your breath. Very well written and magnificently narrated, this story is so much deeper than your average sports romance. Be warned, CJ is a man-ho in need of reforming and Mel has a painful past which our author handles in a very sensitive, non-sensationalized manner. Apologies that this review is so brief, but I just can’t wait to get on to part two, Counter Play. Take a listen to this hot, sweet, heartbreaking story, and you won’t blame me a bit. Oh, and no need to fret, there is a happy ending.

For one who is not much for contemporary romances, this was a very sensual listen. I cannot wait to get to the next novel in the series. Thank you Miss Alden for the sensual listen.

The heat and passion that developed between them was awesome!! truly loved this story and the narrator ifs fantastic!!!

Great story

Loved it. I love the characters and how they face different forms of pain and are each other's rock to overcoming the pain.

broken and twisted

Clueless jock falls for a homegrown Cinderella down on her luck. Their insta attraction is something they both fight due to past baggage, but in the end a promo opp turns into the resl thing. I enjoyed this quick ride and the growth in CJ. The family abuses were hard to hear. Good ending. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.
