Voted Best Book Series of 2013 by Supportive Business Moms, UK.

Bursting with Love is the newest addition to The Bradens (Love in Bloom series) by New York Times & USA Today best-selling and award-winning author Melissa Foster. This contemporary romance series features alpha male heroes and sexy, empowered women. They're flawed, funny, passionate, and very relatable to listeners who enjoy new adult romance, contemporary romance, and women's fiction....

After having her heart broken by a country music star, Savannah Braden has sworn off men. She takes a break from her fast-paced Manhattan lifestyle for a weekend at a survivor camp to rebuild her confidence and readjust her priorities. But when she meets the handsome guide, Jack Remington, she's drawn to everything about him - from his powerful physique to his brooding stare - despite the big chip on his shoulder. Powerless to ignore the heated glances and mounting sexual tension, Savannah begins to reassess her hasty decision.

After losing his wife in a tragic accident, Jack Remington found solace in the Colorado Mountains. This solitary existence allows him to wallow in his guilt and punish himself for having made a decision that he believes cost his wife her life. He never expected to want to return to the life he once knew - but then again, he never expected to meet gorgeous, stubborn, and competitive Savannah Braden.

One passionate kiss is all it takes to crack the walls the two have built to protect themselves, and allow love to slip in.

Natural and undeniable attraction

Would you listen to Bursting with Love again? Why?

Yes! When I am in the mood for this genre, Melissa Foster is my go to, whether that is in print or an audio book. I've thoroughly enjoyed rereading this book via audio after listening to it when it was first released.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Savannah. She is my favorite because she reminds me of me. :) I'm strong-willed and I say what I think, but there are times that I am weak and don't live up to my typical persona.

Have you listened to any of B.J. Harrison’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to B.J.'s reading of all of the books previous to this one in this series. It was great as usual!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

When opposites attract!

Any additional comments?

I'm now addicted to listening to all of my old favorites!

another great book to this series

I enjoyed this book as I have the other books of this series. Savannah's story was a quick story with a lot of underlying issues that her character and Jack's character needed to work through but it was a good and realistic story. Their characters had explosive chemistry together and I felt that Jack and Savannah were a good fit together as a couple. The plot of the story was fast moving but flowed well. In the audio version, the narrator did well with the book in that he kept the plot flowing well and the characters interesting, keeping my interest in the book. I also feel that the narrator did well with the different characters making it so that I as a listener knew that different people were speaking and were easy to differentiate between. I enjoyed this book from start to finish and would recommend it to others.

Great chemistry

Another well-done romance from Melissa Foster! I have been slowly working my way through the Love in Bloom series and I was excited to read Savannah’s story. This book was exactly what I have come to expect from this author with a straightforward romance with enough heat to keep things very interesting. This book can definitely be read as a stand-alone but a lot of the characters featured in the earlier books play a pretty big role so reading the series in order would be ideal.

Savannah is the only daughter in the large Braden family. She seems to keep picking the wrong men so she has sworn them off for now and is escaping to a survivor wilderness retreat. Jack runs the survivor camp and notices Savannah right away. Jack has been lost for the past two years since his wife died and has a lot of work to do for himself in order to move on. Savannah may just be what he needs to come alive once again.

Savannah and Jack had a lot of chemistry. They fell for each other pretty quickly but it seemed to work in this story. There were a few things in the story that were kind of unbelievable but I just went with it since it is a fictional story. I did like how they talked about the things that they had been through and were able to support each other as they worked through their issues.

B.J. Harrison continues to do a great job in narrating this series. I decided to speed the narration up to 1.25 x speed which worked perfectly for me. I thought that he did a great job with the various character voices and I liked that he was able to add a lot of emotion to the narration. I wouldn’t hesitate to listen to more of this narrator’s work in the future.

I would recommend this book to others. I think that this was an enjoyable read with just enough heat. I can’t wait to read more of this series!

Emotion overload

Jack is the very definition of closed off and is just suffering and punishing himself for things that happened, but even he can't help himself when he meets Savannah Braden. Savannah is just like the breath of fresh air that he didn't know he needed, that is the antidote to what ails him. I absolutely adore this story. The range of emotions that these two go through, and the way Melissa Foster writes it, you actually feel the emotions with them.

Bursting with Love is a beautiful and emotional story

Melissa Foster audiobook bursting with love
Emotional read

B J Harrison beautifully narrates this emotional story of angry and reclusive Jack Remington and entertainment attorney Savannah Braden. Savannah’s singer boyfriend has cheated on her once again and she has finally dumped him. She has decided to go on a wilderness retreat to get away. The pilot and guide for the retreat, Jack, is somewhat surly as he flies the group to the wilderness. A few interesting and humorous events occur and Savannah finds herself in Jack’s arms. B J Harrison makes you feel all the anger, guilt, and hurt that Jack has as he narrates. Melissa Foster has put the most beautiful and raw story to paper.

Great book!

Bursting with love is another great read, well listen, from Melissa Foster. Expertly narrated by BJ. Savannah wanted to get away and regroup so she went on a survival weekend and met rugged loner Jack. Little did they know that after a rocky start neither could “survive” without each other. A great book!

Moving on with Life!

What did you love best about Bursting with Love?

The emotion you get from this big, burly man. You don't see a lot of 'big' men who so freely express their emotions and to feel every one that Jack feels throughout this book just hits you.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I LOVE Savannah! Her heart, her spunkiness, and her all out beautiful soul.

Which scene was your favorite?

I'd have to say my favorite scene is a tie between when Jack & Savannah first come together and when they get together at the end with her family.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed and cried throughout the whole book!

Any additional comments?

I am now completely addicted to Audiobooks!!

This man is no match for a stubborn Braden........

Bursting with Love is the fifth book in The Bradens mini-series, and it features the only sister of the family, the feisty and determined Savannah Braden. After dumping her cheating boyfriend, Savannah runs away to a survivalist weekend camp with a gorgeous but irritable and brooding guide named Jack Remington. Although leery of opening herself to the possibility of being hurt by love, Savannah can't fight both her powerful pull towards Jack and the challenge of getting under his skin at every turn. Jack is still grieving the death of his wife after two years and has perfected the art of being miserable. These two together seem like a disaster in the making, but the passion and chemistry when they finally give into their desires is combustible.

I liked Savannah from the very first Bradens book, and I hated watching her with her cheating boyfriend in previous books. As with so many strong, successful, beautiful women, she kept going back to the bad boy. On the surface, Jack, a former special forces soldier and modern day adventurer seems like a bad boy, but he is the best kind of sweet and loving underneath that hard exterior. As with all of Melissa Foster's stories, family drama is sprinkled throughout the book, and I teared up several times watching Jack reconnect with his family and allow himself to grieve for his deceased wife. I make the story sound heavy, but Foster employees her usual finesse to balance poignant emotions with scorching steam and a sprinkling of comedy. I already miss Jack and Savannah, and I am headed off to start Hugh Braden's story next.

BJ Harrison narrates most of the books in the Love in Bloom series, and he is an ideal choice for the single narration style. Harrison performs both male and female roles with skill, but I especially love his deep, masculine cadence for the sexy male leads. His delivery is flawless, and he makes an already moving story even more touching as an audiobook.

Savannah gets her story

Savannah is a strong independent woman who needs a man who can handle her.

Jack is lost soul of a man who needs an independent woman to center him.

Together they are fire and ice who find their harmony.

This series is all read by the same narrator and I’m finally used to his inflection and am enjoying the stories.

Lots of My Tears Flowed

Of all the Braden, and Braden Cousin stories (which I totally enjoy), I think Savannah and Jack's love story was the most heart wrenching. So many times throughout, I cried while listening. Didn't matter that I was in traffic driving to/from work; I cried. Jack's tragic past and self-imposed separation from family and let's face it life as a whole tore at my heart.I think Savannah's continued draw to a client turned boyfriend turned repeated cheater was comfortable for her because he always apologized and came back for more. Not smart, but what else did she have. Plus she was ashamed to reveal those details to her protective brothers. As an Attorney and raised to be strong and independent like her brothers, Savannah's personal and professional sides were clearly in conflict. I kind of understand having the types of internal conflicts both Jack and Savannah felt. I think we all have internal conflicts at times of our lives, and the stories of these two different yet remarkably similar people really made me think and have much better perspective; empathy. Two thumbs up for the writing and wisdom of this particular story, and 5 super shining stars for my favorite narrator BJ Harrison. Unlike so many other narrators, his male and female voicing is absolutely distinguishable, and his inflection, tone and burst of emotion of all the different characters is spot on perfect. Bravo Melissa and Encore BJ!
