With high turnovers and work environments of uncertainty, this strategy offers leverage to help leaders hire and sustain productive employees—the organization as a whole benefits from culture enhancements and cost savings. The cost to train employees that leave within the first year is astronomical for many businesses. There are helpful tools and easy-to-understand instructions by the authors based on best business practices. This audiobook would benefit any business for long-term sustainability and be an excellent resource for the Human Relations department where most hiring actually begins.

Failed but I'll try again!

I'm really glad I got to read this book. It is a game-changing book that helps entrepreneurs like me bounce back from failures and succeed. It shows that resilience is not just about fancy software, but about having strong, determined people in the team. The book talks about hormesis, which means a little stress can actually make us stronger. It gives practical steps to build a resilient company culture, take smart risks, and solve problems. My favourite chapter is Chapter 4 where there is a self-assessment for me to figure out my ideal learning style. It was soo helpful and gave me new hope. Indeed, the only constant is change and we have to constantly learn and adapt. And it can be a very enjoyable process! The author's storytelling and examples make it easy to apply in my own business. I feel more confident and ready to face challenges, thanks to this inspiring book. i highly recommend this book!

To promote good workplace synergy takes planning and building trust. I appreciate how this book covers details about showing care for the members of the team or employees as their work and personal life matter as well. It's so easy for a lot of companies to ignore this, but end up with high turn-around rates and low job satisfaction. The better you treat your employees, the more likely they'll perform better.
