Publisher's summary

I thought I’d die in the dungeons.

My father is a terrible man. He claimed a demon lived inside me and imprisoned me for months in his torture chamber. Then, one fateful day, he found himself on the bitter end of a curse, and he offered me in exchange for his freedom.

I thought my life was over, but I was wrong.

While trapped within the curse creator's ancient castle, phantoms begin speaking to me. They caress me with invisible hands, and proclaim I’m theirs. One is cold and possessive, another curious and calculating, and the third… well, he might be damaged beyond repair - just like me.

At night, however, when the phantoms leave, terrifying beasts emerge. Their snarls and roars awaken something dark within me, and their pull is impossible to resist.

I’m changing, becoming something greater than I ever thought I could be.

When the past comes back to haunt me, and my future is compromised, I find myself facing an old enemy. This time, though, I won’t submit. This time, I’ll become the demon he always claimed I was - a broken beast.

Note: Broken Beasts of Beauty is a full-length, stand-alone, dark, PNR, RH fairytale retelling. Within this tale are scenes containing mature content.

Okay

Not the best story ever written, it sort of dragged in the middle and the last three two chapters were just fluff.

Reimagine of beauty and the beast

This dark romance was so good. It’s a reimagined of beauty and the beast. I loved the twists and turns this story has and the mythical creatures. The audiobook was well made which I definitely recommend and the spice was off the charts. So don’t miss out on this amazing story which has fated mates, the 4 elements, why choose, dragons, curse, destiny, magic and etc…

fairytales just a little dirty

The saying "I still love fairytales just a little dirty now" is definitely a good saying for this dark Reverse Harem retelling of Beauty and the beast. The duel narration is done perfectly

I listened so you don’t have to

I loved seven sins of snow and had high hopes for this one. The idea was good and had potential but it just dragged on and at no time did I feel invested in the outcome, I found the FMC to be annoying and blah.

Very Good! Awesome

This one is very much on par with this authors first fairy tale book, a take on Snow White. This was just as vivid in its intricacies and so visceral. Not quite as gory (which I love the gore) but it does make up for that in.. well "rough treatment". They rough her up pretty regularly, Not beat her, but she's stubborn so they manhandle her a bit. But she does like to tease, poke, be chased, and fought for.
However, it did feel the story rush through its last quarter of the story straight to the end. Which I hate to say cause I live the story but I wanted more. Even if it was just for more love scenes lol (seriously though the SnowWhite book had so many spicy - SpIcY scenes!!!!)
Performance was just friggin' AMAZING!!, these two are so talented and love all their work!

Broken Beasts of Beauty

Omg I just loved this book. This is one of the best retellings of Beauty and the Beast. This is a dark RH. I loved how Brawinn and her mates all hold the power of an element. Marissa Parness and Daniel Wisniewski did an absolutely phenomenal job narrating this book in duet style.

1 book is waaaay better

I do feel that the story started off strong but started dying out. The sex scenes and the narrator's are great but the story was kind of weak. It was hard to finish it but I made sure that I did. The other book is WAAAAY better.

Another fun story!

I enjoyed this book almost as much as I enjoyed the Seven Sins of Snow, because I felt the story was a little less developed in Broken Beasts. I think I wanted more backstory with this book, but enjoyed the dialogue with the hints of modern day slang. I enjoy the narration because it's always full of emotion and I also enjoy the voices, despite others mentioning that the female voice was slightly annoying. Her voice is just fine and the steamy scenes were awesome as usual!

Great book.

The narrators did an amazing job. Daniel Wisniewski has a deep, sexy voice and does accents well. Marissa Parness really brought life to the FMC. The story was very well written.
