Could NOT stop listening!!!!

If you are drawn to erotica with a BDSM twist and or the whole Dom sub idea...then automatically get this book, I mean right now! I could NOT stop listening, I mean I listened while I got ready in the morning, on my way into work, while at work....nope that was not me bopping along to music on my headphones that was me not being able to put down this book! I have NEVER read a book even close to this one before....maybe I'm sheltered but WOW, if there are more books like this I hope to find them soon!

Brianna is a struggling filmographer, she hasn't gotten her big Hollywood break yet so she works in a cigarette store to make ends meet and practices her craft on the weekends. One day a handsome man comes into the shop and she is drawn to him...but she doesn't know why. He leaves her a card with a web address for a school...a school to train submissives. She thinks it's a bunch of bull, but she looks into it...and that is when the fun begins! Through this intensive 6 week course we see Brianna grow into a "proper" sub and just bloom as she discovers who and what she really is. This book details her training which includes multiple partners, both male and female, and multiple BDSM tools are used on her and on others. This book was down right instructional, while it was entertaining.

There was no one clear love interest for the female lead, and that made it unlike any other book in this genre that I have ever read. Was there instant attraction, yes, but Brianna got to explore every side of her kinky nature with a variety of different type of people, places and things. At the end of the 6 week course she decides to pick a Master...but at the start of graduation even she doesn't know who to pick...there are so many sides to her kink and finding one man to be her everything is not an easy thing.

I adore, adore, adore this book!!! The narrator was wonderful...the hot scenes had my earphones melting, and listening to this woman grow into a better stronger version of herself was empowering to the reader. I have already downloaded book 2 which is her life after graduation...and no there is not cliffhanger....I just want to see what happens with her and the Dom that she chose.

I would buy this book at full non-member price if I had to....never have I been so engrossed in a book before. If you are interested in the kink side of life, or just like reading about it, this book could not come more highly recommended!

It's a Powerful Lesson to be Learned

I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. The book was definitely more than I had anticipated. I do not think that Red Phoenix left anything out in regards to the training center. Wow! Very Nice!!!!
