Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No. Couldn't even finish it. I loved the Shark and I, but this one was way too slow and repetitive.

Would you be willing to try another one of Allegra Cole’s performances?

No way. She really messed this one up for me. Pausing in the wrong spot. Making the main male character whiney.

good read

I love her characters. The women are so average Jane. The males are genuinely good guys. She gives you love in reality, not unrealistic expectations. They have feelings you can relate too and want to share with them.

Enjoyable listen

I love the authors funny spin on a romance. The narrator sounded just right for a bumbling 40 yr old that just started dating. I will listen to this again.

not very exciting

I cant recommend this. It was predictable and even though short I was not sure I even wanted to listen to it to the end.
