Dr. Gideon Box, world-famous surgeon, is extremely good at his job. He’s never lost a patient…but he has issues. He’s antisocial. Doesn’t mix well with others. So Dr. Box joins a dating website, spends two weeks narrowing down the candidates, and eventually settles on three small-town Kentucky women who seem to possess the qualities his psychiatrist recommended, as well as the one quality Dr. Box seeks: excessive horniness.

He sets out to meet these women, starting with Faith Hemphill, who lives in Ralston, Kentucky. He flies to Nashville, rents a car, gets within two hours of Ralston...and meets a hot young waitress named Trudy Lake. Then all hell breaks loose.

I loved the story line

Like all John Lock books, this one was very well written. I really liked the person who read it. John Lock is one of my favorite authors.

Another oddball character from John Locke

If you love John Locke's Donnavan Creed universe then you will enjoy this spin-off of Dr. Gideon Box and his eccentricities.

Great sense of humor

What I liked most about this story is the fact that ALL the characters have a great sense of humor.

Very funny ...in an insane sorta way..

This story was not really like the blurb but better than it. It was very good the narration I think helped it to be better than it would have been in print. Both narrators were excellent! However after 3/4 way through I would find my self laughing and then next minute wishing it would hurry up to the end as the stupid silly & crazy storyline was wearing thin...but i listened to this book all in 2 sittings over just a day and a half. The ending I think was not as funny as the author probably thought it was but this was such a long crazy ride it had to end some how.
All in all I enjoyed listening to the story very much but was also glad when it was over. (If that makes any sense)
I had enough of small town southern stereotypical humor by that point.

Fabulous narrator augments terrific book

Hilarious story made even better by fabulous narration, especially by Kevin T. Collins!
