Engaging.........

I normally don't like books with cliffhangers but this one was the exception because it is a complete series. You won't have to wait to know the outcome with this book. 😉

If you like books with a handsome-rich-powerful man and a pretty-submissive female, need an escape from reality or just need a break from the mundane then this book is for you. Although I thought some of the situations were unrealistic, I found myself engaged in the story and characters. Not for everyone but will appeal to those who like a little fantasy in their reality.

Note: There is detailed sex and strong language in this book so I would not recommend it to young readers or anyone who prefers clean reads, etc.

I thought Gary Furlong did a great job with the narration. ( I will definitely be checking out the other books he's narrated) 😉

Wow! Author And Narrator Exceeded My Expectation!

Vanessa Booke's Bound to You is a polished romance that ticked off everything I love in a good romance! A sexy, and confident hero who's swoon worthy, and knows exactly what he wants and goes after it. A heroine who's strong and independent, with real flaws (slightly self-concise regarding her curves), but determine to help those she loves. An undeniable (albeit) forbidden attraction between H/h, that leads to some steamy sex scenes. Awesome supporting characters, and a well thought out plot with drama, angst, and a HEA.

Gary Furlong's performance was top notch! He's got a great voice, and really nailed the tone, emotions, and characters. I would definitely listen to other audios he narrates, and hope to see his collection of audiobooks increase….fast!

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review! Bound to You was a captivating and complex story with great characters, chemistry, and steamy sex scenes. It's definitely worth a credit! Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Sweet & Seductive

Nick and Becca's story was a series of coincidence sprinkled with the dust of fate.

I found myself laughing and swooning, entertained until the very end. Not especially angsty or drama filled, more light and flowing.
I literally listened to this one from the second I downloaded until it was over.

Gary Furlong did a great job at narrating. I do wish that they would have had dual narration for this one. It was difficult to remember if it was a Becca chapter or a Nick chapter but I know this would not be Gary's fault and I felt like he did a fantastic job with what he was given.

Although I was given a copy of this audiobook by Audiobook Boom, it in no way influenced my review.

Oh yes, Nicholas Stonehaven!!!

Knew I already loved this series so decided to try the audible. Gary Furlong really brings the story to life and his voice as Nicholas.... Yes, please!!! Fall in love with Nick & Becca's story!

honestly do not understand the rave reviews....

This reads like a raunchy adolescent daydream. The characters are vulgar and vacuous. I don't mind reading erotica, nor am I a prude... but do people really talk like this to someone they hardly know? REALLY? Do people really act out and bumble around clueless in the real world, groping and panting? In theory this story is about two intelligent, accomplished people falling in love, and I can't imagine anyone experiencing this storyline as it plays out. It was disappointing and vapid and I was very happy it ended. By the end my eyes had rolled so many times I had a headache. Had I been in a position to dump it and load something else I would have about half way through. Save your credit. If you like steamy romance novels, this won't do it for you. The narrator was fine. He did his job and was not responsible for the debacle he was given to read.

I really enjoyed this one however if this was originally THREE BOOKS I would have never listened because as you know I don't buy books that are lees than 7 hours for one credit!!! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄Anywho it's a good listen. Get it

Yes.

I enjoyed Gary Furlongs narration.

not all male narrators do justice to female voices , but Gary did an excellent job narrating Rebecca.

What does Gary Furlong bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Depth to the character and story.

Its a well used plot: woman gets dumped by her boyfriend, meets a mysterious stranger who peruses her and she finds passion and love she never experienced before.

I would have enjoyed it more if Rebecca had a different professional relationship with Nicholas and if the arranged marriage with another woman was cut from the story. .

The book itself was average , it was the narration who elevated it and made it enjoyable to keep listening.

Do you think Bound to You Boxed Set needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No.

Rebecca and Nicholas got their HEA. They are in a good place personally and professionally and I dont see the need to add drama .

I WAS BOUND TO THIS VERY ENTERTAINING LISTEN

This is the first book that I have listened to from Vanessa Booke.... but it won't be the last because during the 9 hour listen I have been thoroughly entertained by an unstoppable roller-coaster love story of strong animal attraction, lust, passion and sex amidst tortuous and difficult circumstances. Newly single Rebecca was instantly attracted to the handsome man she landed on in First Class - and the smouldering kiss he gave her was breathtaking... but never did she think she would see him again - let alone work for him. However, Rebecca's euphoric bubble is soon burst when she finds out he's engaged.

Nicholas is heir to a Publishing Company, he's always been a Playboy and takes every advantage of what his gorgeous looks does to willing women everywhere - but he can't seem to shake the image of the mysterious redhead that literally fell into his lap. And then he doesn't have to mentally picture her any longer because she's his new PA but having just made a deal with the Devil (his Father) he tries to drive Rebecca away... in some very original and amusing ways. However, Rebecca needs the job and gives back as much as she takes from this sexy, arrogant, conceited, engaged jerk. And the combustible sexual tension between them eventually explodes and the ground between them tilts and shifts.... but where can it lead, what does it mean and how will it end? because Nicholas can't just walk away from his legacy... so that means Rebecca must do the walking.

This very enjoyable story made me stay awake listening to it for way way too long into the night because these were two very likeable characters were destined to be together but outside forces had very different ideas. It was frustrating, funny, yes predictable, sexy and sweet as the Playboy with 'attitude' finally got taken down by a strong-willed, curvy redhead. An addictive listen told from dual POV's, well narrated, good secondary characters and I'm eagerly looking forward to listening to more from VB's Millionaire's Row series.

Worth a credit? Yup, those 9 hours covered up chores, commutes and cooking with ease and it was everything... and much more than I'd hoped for.

Didn’t hate or love

I chose this story because I loved instant attraction. I didn’t love or hated but it was a good escape for just a little while. This story was not the best but the performance made this bearable. Although I enjoyed Gary’s performance, I wish this was dual narrators. The story was told from both POV. I believe it would’ve been better. All in all, it was worth the credit.

Dumb and Dumber

For a couple of supposedly sophisticated,professional adults,they sure do fly by the seat of their pants in serious decision making.I don’t blame Mr.Stonehsven for not trusting his son to run his company if he’s using it to seduce all his personal helpers only to get them fired,then making poor decisions on using company funds for his own personal reasons.What kind of friend is Carol too for practically instigating meet times between Rebacka and the man-wh#re anyway.Rebacka just got out of a relationship with a different man-wh#re,you gonna shove her or encourage her to fall for another one.Narrator was fine,story was a bit half baked.

A phenomenal first time

Would you listen to Bound to You Boxed Set again? Why?

Yes, absolutely! I was immediately drawn into the story and liked the characters very much, they had enough depth to themselves, so I always kept wanting to know more about them. And I appreciated the author finding the right balance between them flirting and just not being able to get together as a couple. I was staying engaged throughout the whole book weather and how they would overcome the obstacles of their relationship.

What did you like best about this story?

It is an entertaining easy reading story, but still has enough depth to it so it would stay interesting the whole time.

What about Gary Furlong’s performance did you like?

He has a very agreeable voice and I found it very easy to keep listening to him throughout the whole book. He managed very well to bring out the different characters without it sounding weird when he switched from man to woman.

This was my first audio book and I went into it very critical, because I always preferred reading for myself. But the narrator really did a great job and totally convinced me that audio books are a great way to be able to "read" while driving a car!
I can't wait for the follow up book with Emily's and Tristan's story.

Enjoyed it

I love the story, wish it included more. only issue I found was having a male narrator do the female voice, it wasn't terrible or that but would be nice if it was split male and female narrators but other than that it was great.

Hot business man meets curvy sassy girl

I've read these books many times before but it was great to listen to Gary Furlong read these and bring them to life. I love Nick and Becca's story, she is a realistic, sassy woman who falls for Nick's persistent wooing (but not without some feisty, red-headed challenging). This story progresses through the stages of the chase and their developing relationship and has a satisfying ending. If you love the billionaire/strong woman instal-love story then don't miss this one!

Enjoyable modern romance

What happens when a man is forced into an arranged marriage just as the woman of his dreams falls, quite literally, into his lap? Of course the marriage isn't being arranged with her and the story takes off from there. With a little office drama, a little New York night life and fascinating supporting characters thrown into the mix, this story is an interesting ride and well narrated. I look forward to reading about/listening to the other characters in this book as they find their HEA.
