So Good

Oh, my goodness Landros and Clara’s romance is so good! Landros is so calm, cool and collected
while Clara is his perfect opposite. She is so funny and outlandish you cannot help but love her. As for the rest of the gang you cannot help but love the entire group. I love their banter and comradery, it pulls you in and you become one of them. I found this book to have amazing characters, a great story and just the right amount of action. I love this series.

So awesome!

I always think Mandy's books just can't get any better. I love the fun banter and back and forth in this. How the flirting was not just flirting. Once again we get Gus and Bill and Gus actually talks! That maker in this one is one bad dude and the bathroom scene actually scared me! More Crimson Ops!

Revenge is sweet!

For years Landros has been on the run trying to escape the brutality of his nemesis and maker. Until he finally decided to change things up with his niece. Landros created bonds and one in particular is with Claire.
Claire can be a spitfire, but we also see a very human trait in her that made it easier as a reader to connect with her. She was dealing with some traumatic things along with her attraction with Landros. I very much enjoyed to see Bill and Gus. Gus is a oddball and the things he spouts are very hilarious.
Things come to a head with Landros and his enemy. I enjoyed the villian in this story because he enjoyed playing the long games but in the end revenge is very sweet for one of them.
I highly recommend the audiobook. D.C. Cole is a wonderful narrator. Some narrators just tell a story, but D.C. Cole breathes life to the characters. The variety of tones and inflections used for all of the characters are easy to follow along, and distinguish who is speaking.

Landros and Clara

As always a amazing adventure. This was a intriguing story with some dangerous twists. When Landros’s maker wants his mate Clara Landros will do whatever it takes to protect her. This was a action packed adventure with a HEA. Can’t wait for more. The narration was great.

Another amazing Ops world with Gus & Bill's help

Landros and Clara

The audio version of Landros story will capture you from word one. The narration has to give characters from Dark Ops guys to hilarious Bill & Gus with never a dull or safe moment.

The thousand years old vampire misses his niece, recently married to another Ops agent. That had to be why he was hanging around outside her apartment, where her roommate, Clara, still lived. They'd been almost kidnapped by his niece's husband's twin. He wasn't captured but he wouldn't be after Clara, would he? He shouldn't stay around her. He wasn't seeing the same way--far from it. She was a woman, not the young girl he'd known With her paranormal abilities, she'd be ageless--like him.

What Landros didn't know was that Clara was feeling differently about him as well. She was funny, sassy, strong and a force of nature--a beautiful force. It was a little weird feeling this way about her bestie's uncle.

Neither of them knew their feelings weren't strange at all. He couldn't leave her alone but was he, right about the enemy?

Not only do we have Landros and Clara but other wonderful characters (and I don't just mean that as cast members of the story) these guys are real characters that will make you laugh, wonder, and not understand why the adults in the room don't take them in hand.

As always the author gives us a great PNR story, wonderful characters that fans will recognize and enjoy seeing again, plenty of steam, and nasty villains to take on our heroes.

Great Story

D C Cole is a superior narrator. He goes flawlessly from various character to character including accent and gender.
The mirror monster was a truly imaginative scene.
As always the love story is wonderful.

Immortal age gap

While most immortal end up in an age gap romance this one has the feel. An ancient who raised his niece and helped raise her beat friend. When things change. This is a fun story that has Bill one of my favorite characters. After coming of age he cause seem to resist Claire’s pull and continues to watch over her. This is a sweet take on immortal ops. There’s still action and humor but I found it very endearing. The narrator does amazing and loved listening!
