Publisher's Summary

Morgan Polley is an empath who helps people. When she meets Tor and his family of dying dragons, she wants to assist them in finding their mates. Except for Tor's. She wants to keep him and make lots of babies with the big sexy man. It's getting hard to remember her objective when her hormones go out of whack around him.

Tor Drachen is one of a handful of dragons left on earth, dying due to their mates being targeted and killed before finding each other. He's been told Morgan Polley will be a mate to one of his kind, but who? He's having a hard time keeping her at bay and the thought of getting her pregnant to start a family is a very tempting idea.

A breed of evil dragons is after Morgan, but Tor promises to protect her to the very end. Even if it turns out that she's one of his brothers' mates. If he can't find a way to cheat fate, he will walk away without his heart.

Note to listeners: This is a hot, action-packed, fun adventure of dragon love, babies, sassy women, dirty-talking alpha males, and enough heat it will make you take a couple of cold showers. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I can't even

The narrator's depiction of the female characters voices is so bad. I cannot get over it to even begin to get into the story.

The music why???

Tor and Morgan I enjoyed the intensity and chemistry. I did not like the musics in between each chapter. That drive me nuts. I was ready to quite the audio so many times. This is the first Milly audio that I have listened to with this music. not a high point at all.

I did live meeting the dragons and hearing some of their origin.

nope

I am SO sorry but the narrators 'female' voice is not something I can stand longer than five minutes. Besides that I just didn't get any real feeling from the reading at all.

Story was really nice

I am really enjoying the story the narration is OK but the production is horrible! For some reason they think they should put music between the chapters and smaller amounts between different sections and it really interrupt the flow of the book which would probably be much better if I wasn’t happening to suffer through the interruption of the flow

Why have music between chapters! loud and disrupts

Entertaining story..frustrating recording. Why have loud music between chapters? It disrupts the flow of the story. Ugh...

Quick read

I liked the storyline. The narration was different. I think I’m used to hearing a female voice but after a chapter or so you get use to it. The music between chapters was different but again, you get use to it.

why the music

I like MillyTaiden but this book and the narrator. The story line wasn't bad actually. I liked the story. it was cute. the narrator on the other hand killed it. A lot of the time he spoke like he was actually reading the story for the first time. He put emphasis on the wrong words in a sentence and it just threw everything off the whole book. And then the cheesy music at the beginning of each chapter. I almost couldn't make it through the whole book. But because I generally really like Taiden's stories I made myself finish. Again I like the book but definitely failed on the music and narrator. Unfortunately in an Audio book the narrator makes or breaks a book.

Couldn't Finish

Ugh. I tried, but for such a short book, it was slow. It wasn't bad, but it just didn't hold my interest. The plot was a little too obvious. You're spoon fed everything and figure it out before the characters do. It didn't help that I wasn't the biggest fan of the reader.

I did not like the narrator

I did not enjoy the narrator and the music at the beginning of each chapter was very annoying. I'm giving the story a 3 as it was a quick low angst listen but I will read the ebooks for the others in this series.

A teenagers daydream?

Not much of a story. What is is too over the top to be taken seriously as an attempt at a story really. Kind of like if a teenager was given the rein and then her grandmother had a go at the naughty bits. But of course if authors can sell books like this, who is to blame? To add insult to injury the narrator is in cohort with the teenager and the grandmother. The result is a bit comic though. I am so sure I used to like Milly Taiden as an author, so either she became a victim of a fast buck mentality or her books are maybe something people grow out of.

love this author's works

I have loved all the books I have read from this author and this is no exception.
Morgan and Tor are human and dragon respectively. She's an empath and they are thrown together by her mother ostenstinsibly so she can help Tor and his brothers find mates. Drama ensues as well as romance.
All in all an enjoyable story and worth the read (listen)
