Publisher's summary

Two years have passed since Frederica joined Gaston aboard the Ocean’s Knave, and with every passing hour, they have fallen more deeply in love. By day, she is the ship’s physician, but at night, she serves her captain in his bed, offering her body for him to punish and pleasure until she begs for more. But after a successful run of raiding other pirate ships, the couple have a target on their backs.

Their only hope is to form an alliance with a trio of like-minded captains, but in order to guarantee the cooperation of these unyielding, battle-hardened men, Gaston is forced to offer them a night with Frederica. Reluctantly, she agrees to be shared with the men, but afterwards Gaston finds it difficult to forgive himself for bartering Frederica’s charms. As jealousy and desperation threaten to consume him, will Gaston lose his beloved Frederica or can he weather the storm and find a way to bind her to him forever?

Publisher’s Note: Bound by the Buccaneer is the second book of the Pirates of the Jolie Rouge trilogy, which began with Rescued by the Buccaneer. It is an adventure and erotic romance novel that includes elements of BDSM.

Filled with spice!

Gaston and Freddie find themselves in a relatively blissful existence, discovering new land and new pleasures. In joining the crew of the Ocean's Knave, Freddie succeeds in showing them that she is more than capable of doing anything onboard. She talks Gaston into stealing from other pirates' ships, rather than innocent victims. Great idea, but it's making them too many enemies and they head to the Bahamas to find some back-up. He strikes a deal with 3 other ships' captains and they will only help him if they can have a night with Freddie. He knows the consequences of sharing her, but he has no choice. He didn't see the jealouy coming and there is no doubt in his mind that he is going to make her his, fully and forever. Life has settled, or so it seems. Gaston is asked to go on a mission to capture Captain Humphry, and to bring him back alive.
Piers Ryman has the perfect voice for each of the pirates and Freddie. His narration makes the story come alive!

Loving the Jolie Rouge!

Normandie Alleman just keeps me falling for the sea! This second installment to Pirates of the Jolie Rouge had me enthralled in the insights of living with a pirate. It's been two years since Frederica has joined Gaston and their chemistry just keeps increasing. While day to day is happy, the past is creeping up to haunt Gaston, and the only way to keep safe is to align with three others. And payment would be Frederica for a night!!! Will he let the love of his life be with these three men? Will she agree to it? And if it happens, will either be able to live with themselves? I loved this. It's got some real sweetness mixed into a passion filled story. Alleman has given each character such distinct personalities, it's a blast getting to know them. I give Frederica such kudos for her part, I am not sure I would have been understanding! And I love the reaction of all the men. It's got some suspense filled scenes that bring it all home and set us up for the third book in the trilogy, and I can't wait to listen to it.

Piers Ryman is fantastic as a pirate. He sounds exactly as I expect each to sound, and he delves into each so much that you would think there are multiple people narrating. I loved his performance and look forward to more of his story telling.
