Loved it!

What a great story. I was sorry to hear it’s end! Interesting magic system, great character development and a touch of romance. I will be getting the next book.

Entertaining

This book was entertaining. The world was interesting. The different “smiths” and their powers was cool. This book is full of magic, betrayals, truths, alliances. I am very intrigued as to how this story is going to go. I did enjoy the “love” story because it wasn’t overdone in the book. The story was more about the bonesmith and the world of the bonesmith.
Audible review: I enjoyed the narrator. Her accent for the main character was entertaining.

Great narration! Story had me hooked! Can't wait for book 2! Can't believe more people haven't downloaded.

Fantastic narration!

This narrator is so good! She uses such different tones and accents for each character that I almost feel like they’re voiced by different people.

A new story!!

Sometimes I get tired of the "same" kind of story being told over and over. This book was a breath of fresh air and something new!! Highly recommended and can't wait for the second one in August 2024!

Super fun, easy listen

I loved the originality of this story and the unique take on a magic system. I do feel like the beginning was a bit rushed with little preamble and it just kind of threw the listener right into the action. Not necessarily a complaint, but I personally would have liked a little more background to set the scene.

Another amazing book

I really like this author and when I found out there was a new book coming out I had to get it right away, I wasn’t disappointed. Good characters, interesting plot and did not really go where I expected. Good solid YA fantasy

Yet another amazing book

So many amazing things to say about this book, so much to love about it, I couldn't stop listening whenever I got the chance. Amazing story, amazing performance, just amazing. Going from the Crown of Feathers trilogy to this new setting entirely; a complete change of everything, was a fantastic experience to say the least.

Quick attraction but it’s not the main focus of the story so it’s forgivable and the rest is good!

I had to put this down for a bit because the injustice in the beginning made me so angry for her lol I’m glad I picked it back up once I calmed down because it’s good!
I do think the “romance” progressed a bit too quickly to be believable, but it’s nothing terrible. The rest of the book mostly makes up for this one little bit I didn’t enjoy as much.
It’s an interesting story and I’m excited to read the second.
