A first

Great first book to a new series I hope. I want to thank the author for putting this on audio format, I know it's costly but in the long term it's worth it I think.

Solid story, solid narrator. Yes it is a isakai but not a horrible cringe fest.

don't like the MC

the overall story is fine but MC nothing but a run of the mill whinny spaze claims to a gamer and anime lover and gets overwhelmed by everything even tho good chunk should be expected just wanted to give him the backhand most of the time and hopefully get him to chill out.

I can't wait to see where the story goes and how Kay's powers branch to!

realistic characters

softer on the stats and game elements. characters are more relatable with realistic behaviors and responses to situations. good narration

very fun

Picked it up for a drive and I am hooked. great litrpg book. highly recommend.

Rocky Start

The start of the book has you ecstatic at the thought of a truly competent weeb/nerd being isekai'd. Then he meets people for the first time and all your hopes are dashed on the rocks. I start with this guy is not a true nerd or weeb and the book gets much better if you ignore his claim as such.
The author also never describes the main character at all. He makes way to many mistakes including not picking up social cues, telling everyone his business, and can't read between the lines with a magnifying glass.
So I bet you wonder why the great overall review? That's because the author slowing picks apart and fixes all those peeves one by one; except for the false nerd advertising.
Seriously if a nerd had this situation happen how can the though of other sentient species let alone their females SCARE YOU!

Awesome!

It was a bit of a rocky start from me by the way the MC reacted at the beginning, but by chapter 3 or 4, i was hooked, and it got better as the story progressed also really liked how the MC took months of training before even getting into any sort of combat it was refreshing for this genre. im so looking forward to book 2

overall great story and not op main character ge grows at a great pace not just getting a new skill just because. narration was great really love the guys voice.
