okay this just keeps getting better. like what the heck, did they really do that to her mom. that shit is madness, who does that. creepy power hungry people, that's who. anyway this book was really good, I really enjoyed it very much. Can Crystal get a break?
This was action from the beginning. Poor Crystal, is there anyone in her life that does not have an ulterior motive? This book keeps rolling forward, destiny must have its way, can she change what destiny says must be? This book does a good job pulling layers off characters so we can see what they are really wanting.
Can not wait to finish the trilogy.

YA Paranormal Fantasy
Blood Rebirth by S.M. McCoy is a YA paranormal fantasy that I listened to on audio narrated by Tara Marie Kirk. This is the second book in the Divine Series.
This is Stevie's debut series and it keeps getting better. I really enjoy that this book kept me guessing on what would happen next. The book ends on another great cliffhanger. I can't wait for the final book in the series Blood Queen to be released on audio.
Tara did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.

A great book 2
Crystal is finally starting to get some powers and this really brings in some interesting moments. The characters are still crisp and the new Djinn character is very well written along with the rest of the students. Give book 2 a listen if you liked book one, you won't be disappointed.

I have to keep reminding myself that Chrystal is a teenager. There are points in this story where I’m yelling at the car which to me means that the story has my attention. I enjoyed book two and can’t wait to hear the next book.
